Universal Gangstar Vegas - (by Gameloft)

Was almost expecting this due to Gameloft's tweet yesterday about "the fight" that would be occurring live today and the accidental release of the official trailer. Still strange it was so stealthy.

 

In the App Store it shows 'offers in app purchases' I am praying I haven't wasted my £4.99!

No. Premium Gameloft games only have optional IAPs to make things easier. Like purchasable cheats or additional funny stuff.
Gameloft f2p/freemium games tend to have IAPs that are neccessary at one point or another.
I have around 80-90% of Gameloft's premium games and never had to buy stuff per IAP. There were no paywalls yet.

Now, guys, bring on the impressions!

 

Crap! I was expecting this to be 4.99 and have 5.22 in credit left on my account!

 

I don't know why but my ipad always downloads things really quickly, I started it about 7 minutes ago and it's already on the install stage, why does everyone complain about long download time :S

To the guy with $5.22 you can use a credit or debit card on iTunes. No need for vouchers or running short

 

Considering whether to buy...

I've been really disappointed with/ignored recent Gameloft games, but I'm excited for this.

Should I wait for it to become available on FreeAppSlots, or can someone convince me to buy it now?

 

Unless you turn off airplane, the game will crash at startup. That's quite a big bug, so I'm sure this is an accidental release.

 

I have to buy this even if i dont want to. Just because i was whining that gameloft was releasing only freemium crap recently. I'm glad to see that they still do premium games.

It's a "forced battery saving option".


But I heard about this problems before, in another game.
Kill all tasks, log out of Game Center, restart device and start the game. What happens then?
If it works, log into GC again and restart the game.

 

Cant be a bug coz they already announced the gamt to be available for download.

And im currently installing. I downloaded the game on itunes, and when i connected my ipad mini into the laptop, ALL my ipad-downloaded apps and updates synced into itunes and it's taking forever to finish.
