It looks really good, I'm impressed by the map size, but it does look very pixelated in that video, I hope it's not really like that
I think they will release all 3 dev diary videos this week before the hands-on previews next week at E3.
HOLY WIENERSCHNITZEL. This looks purty dang impressive. Holy hot dog. Wow. Looks like those cars finally have some physics. Finally.
The physics engine looked pretty good, nothing groundbreaking but something that is definitely needed. Plus, the city looked lively enough for me.
Can someone have the map as an attachment please so I can zoom in on me phone. Physics! Science triupmhet!
Actually Gameloft games have been getting real physics in them since May of last year, with NOVA 3. Since then MC4 and Blitz Brigade have all had ragdolls, with MC4's being quite impressive, if too floppy-doll-ish. MC4 has some of the best animations in a 3D iOS game. I have no idea where you got that from but it's flat out wrong. The cutscenes especially look really nice, facial animations (or lack thereof) nonwithstanding.
Modern Combat 4 is the only one I know of. But if you own L4D2, Skyrim BF3, or countless other AAA games, you've already experienced it. It's regarded by many as the best physics engine currently out there. The trick, of course, is the implementation. MC4 has great physics, but the dead bodies flop around with too little weight for my liking. It's still very impressive though.
