I have no idea what this game will be called, but I think it's pretty certain that it will be set in Vegas. Although I'd prefer Miami or New York, but Las Vegas would still be nice, especially if they include some desert areas.

 

M.I.A must mean Miami, what else could it be? Unless it's the initials of a famous landmark in a city or something like that

 

Wow I can't believe this is real. I hope there are more things to drive and buildings to go into. I also hope they improve the cops. In the last gangster it wasn't really fun. Needs swat cars and trucks. I hope it's in a open map, I never liked liberty city bc it is to packed. We'll see how gameloft does this..

Maybe they give us an announcement tomorrow and maybe in a couple weeks a trailer and in a month they release it.

Needs: More weapons, different vehicles (helicopter, motorcycle, boat), more branching missions (there was only one time where you could choose between two paths).

If you ask me...it sounds like it could be an MMO or at least have some MP aspect to it....now THAT would be awesome.

 

Hopefully not a MMO. I don't Gameloft would be able to consistently provide enough new content to make it interesting over time. With rumours of more customization of both cars and your own character such as tatoos it'll probably be similar to the RPG features that were added in San Andreas.

Even over multiplayer, I hope Gameloft is focusing on the little details that make these open world sandbox games feel real like pedestrians that appear to have their own lives and objectives, day/night and weather effects, radio stations with commentators that react to the outcome of your missions, and plenty of optional mini-games and side missions. I wonder if they'll be supporting older devices, because requiring OpenGL ES 2.0 and 256MB of RAM would definitely given them more freedom in building a large living world.

 

gangstar was disappointing for me. I hope the sequel is much better

I'm sorry but you give gameloft too much credit
They only give the BARE minimum... making a carbon copy with all this polish on it, but no bells and whistles that made the original game so fun.

I have no respect for gameloft... money is all they want, and that's it. Reviews only matter to get them their money.
