The main reason why they chose liberty city for GTAIV was because liberty city is the main setting for all the GTA games (like 1,2 and 3: they were all held in liberty city, I think their going to release new locations, there trying to push the envelope for every game ( like GTA:VC had the best graphics with such a large map.) I think that they may try GTA japan ( like the yakuza and such) and involve the entire country or several countries you can fly to, it has never been done in a game, but with the last few gta's there is no doubt they have the capabilities to make it an absolutely amazing milestone in gaming. I doesn't need to be japan, it was an example. But the next step from interstate like San Andreas is lt international it will be the. Best all time game
I'd love to play a modern GTA set in England. You could go around beating/killing chavs and drive shitty hatchbacks and get ASBOs. The only weapons you would be able to have would be a cricket bat, a pitbull terrier and an air rifle. But it would be pretty easy as the police wouldn't be able to shoot you because they have no guns
i'd love to see a GTA game set in our country with tricycles, jeepneys, beggars in the road going to very big malls and kill everyone who are window shopping L2MS!!!
I hope to see this eventually, I got it when it was $1 so I believe I got my money's worth. I would be disappointed if it didn't support the 2 generation ipods. I believe it is their number 1 seller (I could be wrong). I don't like how the 8 gig wasn't upgraded at all, so anyone that bought it recently (including myself) and didn't plunk down for a more expensive model, are already left in the dust.
If this game dosen't support 2nd Generation iPod's with 512mhz, then it would't support the iPhone Original, iPhone 3g and iPhone 1st Generation with 412mhz, and if this did happen, Gameloft would lose a lot of customers
The vast majority of UK police are unarmed, however there are "Armed Response Units" that are called in if anyone possesses a firearm, or is suspected of possessing a firearm. Although right now in England, there is a big hunt for the murderer "Raoul Moat" and the police are armed to the teeth. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/7880684/Raoul-Moat-police-armed-to-the-teeth-for-any-showdown.html
Didn't sir Raoul commit suicide? I think he did. It's funny because we call him a serial killer here in the UK after killing just a few, or one, police officer. No civilians, just a police officer. But that is a good thing - crime levels seem to be low if we call such a 'serial killer', a 'serial killer'.
Oh right, didn't know he killed himself (I've just come back from holiday). There seems to be more gun crime in the UK recently. We had that crazy old taxi driver that drove around and his old friends/relatives and random people with a shotgun, and now this.
That would be simply amazing! I mean there is so much potential with that! Also I know this may be a bit crazy but how about a GTA:2072 or something like that where it takes place in the future? I mean same gameplay but with hovercrafts, laser weapons, a storyline about the mob would be like in the future? A tech-metal/techno/etc style soundtrack? Maybe even talking about how they think Americas economy would be like in the future? Along with how technology is changed and how the world could look (BLADE RUNNER LOOK FTW!) That could be simply amazing.
Yeah, I'm also wondering if there's any confirmation or info to back it up, or if it's just speculation at this point.

PG has reported on a ton of games in their Rumour Mill have not yet been confirmed. We're talking 3, 4, 5 months ago that they reported on games supposedly in development; games that still, to this day, have not been announced. In other words, yeah, this game might not exist.
