I read on a website that said gameloft was planning to release Gangstar Rio before the end of October ( they went to the gl headquarters) hopefully they are right!
I'm guessing November 11th or 18th. I'll probably get both, but I'm looking forward to this more than MC3.
I hope they release it tomorrow, if that rumor is right. I think there is a possibility that they will release two games at once, since tin tin, bia2 free came out
Gameloft's game reviewer, who has inside information, said on Gameloft's forum that this game is coming sometime in November, which is extremely obvious, but he also said that the graphics are a lot better than MV. My guess is that it'll come in 2 weeks, on November 10th.

Grand Theft Auto V isn't even out yet...how can Gameloft clone a game that doesn't yet EXIST? But in all seriousness, <3 to Gameloft. Awesome company, and perhaps the only one capable of bringing a fantastic sStarcraft-lite to the title (Stafront Collision).
I'm pretty sure why this has taken a little longer than expected is because Gameloft has been improving draw distance. Based on what TouchGen has had to say on the game they have said when in a car sometimes the draw distance is so bad that the road disappears out from under you because the game hasn't had time to load it yet. Seems like a big enough bug for game loft to spend time fixing. I'd rather have an amazing, non glitchy Gangstar Rio in November than a glitchy, less amazing gangstar rio in October.
I know that he's not an actual Gameloft employee, but he's able to try the game before everyone else. Plus, he knows people that work for Gameloft that give him information regarding the upcoming games from Gameloft.
Dude I've known this guy for a while. I know he knows MobileGame08 a.k.a Chespirito Who works at Gameloft but SE doesn't test the games. He is just devoted to posting on the Gameloft forums.
Look, I didn't say he tests the games, I said that he's able to try the games. He hasn't been able to try this game, but earlier this year, Gameloft let him try 9mm before it was released.

I'm liking the draw distance of the buildings. It would be good if you could see some cars when you're flying the airplane that low though. My favourite is that night shot.
Wow. Lots of different types of planes. Also a dance club in the game. Also really like the style of this game. This needs to be out next week!
That club seems kinda familiar: 9mm: Maybe its just the purple theme. I wonder if they are using the same engine? Although 9mm adds an overexposed white sheen to their character models. I don't think every character's clothes and skin should be so glossy.
Haha I did think I had seen it before but I didn't put it together with 9mm. Still this club seems to be much different and no strippers. Wonder if this club is available when roaming the city or is it mission exclusive.
