It won't. Why? Because more people will be able to play this game than there will be people able to play GTA III.
You are right. Gameloft is lucky, when GTA 3 will out, people who can´t play it (iPhone 3GS/4/iPad/iPod touch) will buy this game then.
Just found it. You can see the icon for the game, achievements, etc.. on kmbf Gameloft's live profile. Yes! Gta3 will get an update some day, which will include single core devices. Happy to hear it. But I will still get rio, looks fun.
Note: they won't. This is one of their bigger series. They cancel many of their games, but they do so before they are shown to the public. March of Heroes was shown early, because it used the unreal engine.
... whens this coming out? to me, ganster rio looks better than gta3. gta3 looks dull, while gangster is colorful
gta 3 is an actuall open world game not a compressed map...gta3=actual quality game. Gangstar=MOBILE quality game.
Yea but Rio has the ability to change clothes, have turf wars, has some added weapons like a chainsaw. It also has some features from GTA 3 like tanks, airplanes. I'm not saying one game is better than the other. I will get both. I would say Rio is the saints row of iPhone gaming while GTA 3 is GTA.
You think GTA 4 is possible on the iPhone? Not a chance, and not anytime soon. It can't even run properly on some high-end PC let alone on the low-spec iPhone. Anyway, I hope Gangstar Rio get released soon...maybe this week or next week.
Considering that the graphics quality of an iOS game is at about the quality of a PC game from 2003 - 2005, I do not see that as likely.
