My first few hours with this game were pretty great. The jankiness of the controls even seemed a bit charming, harkening back to 2nd gen GTA games.

My big complaint is that as the missions get harder, it's not my lack of gaming skills that keep me from progressing, it's the janky touch screen controls. Lack of controller support from a big publisher like this just doesn't make sense.

The need to repeat missions multiple times is also grindy and boring.

Yeah,I got to be honest-never understood how people find it interesting to play the same mission over a hundred times to get materials to upgrade something and they doing it all over again to upgrade something else.

Let's be honest about one thing-this is the emptiest open world out there. You can't do too much in it other than shoot people and escape from cops. Can you even walk into any houses/buildings?!I haven't been able to find any such open places.

Also I feel there is a lack of character customization even for paid items. There isn't a great variety of items you can purchase to look different and that bothers me a little.

Also someone earlier mentioned that there was much more to do in the last Gangstar game compared to this one which I feel is true.

Btw can someone explain to me how you get 2004 graphics on this game and the FPS is so horrible?I mean it is sort of okay on IOS but got forbid you try it out on android, there it's a whole other story.

You can't. If you keep holding the run button or let it go and press it again your character will climb over.

Guesses they fixed the bug if you played the soft launch version then tried to play worldwide one.

played this when it was released worldwide in iOS and i hate the way they handle the controls, its a mess, i hope they will get controller support asap to somehow make these controls smooth...and the P2W kicks in when u want "A CHANCE" to get better weapons or evolve items to continue ur game progress, else u have no choice but to grind for months on repetitive missions and that's how the game gets boring....sending thugs to do missions is not much of help either....

the controls of the game is what disappoints me, i wanted to play story missions but the controls just pissed me off.

yeah maybe on a smaller screen but on an ipad its horrible..its difficult to change targets when ur thumb is on the shoot target and if you try to move ur thumb to change targets it's a mess....my main issue is changing field of view while shooting or running is just horrible...
its fine when u hit sprint with ur right thumb and use left thumb for direction, but doing sprint at the same time looking on ur left or right while maintaining running straight is just bad for me...maybe its just me but would love to get some controller support for bigger screen devices :)
