A lot of hype went away, when Gameloft geo-locked most people out of playing. I was semi interested in the game, until I couldn't play it anymore.
And many people like myself know this is just an rough copy of gta but with gameloft twist and loads of in app
The IAP is always a problem however I don't have a problem with it being a GTA clone on mobile.I watched a lot of gameplay footage and the game seems quite interesting.The missions didn't get repetitive,the story wasn't bad and I liked most of the cutscenes also the game does look pretty in its own way. I wish Gameloft would show of more of it at least on their channel but they don't seem to keen on it. I do hope it releases soon though and Gameloft seems to be saying so
Anyone see this available in other regions? We got a confusing comment saying it was out but as far as I can tell nothing has changed.
Does anyone know if it's still geo-locking players? I really don't feel like changing app stores and re-downloading my music, for no reason.
Yesterday gameloft announced on their @Playgangstar channel that there will be some special announcement today-I hope they share the release date with us!
It isn't, at least if you're in the U.S. I grabbed it from the CA App Store yesterday, and it plays just fine, for me.
So I searched gangstar New Orleans on iOS and gangstar new orleans popped up and it said may not be avaliable in your store and I pressed on it, I changed stores, I updated with the philliphenes account I posted and I updated to 0.56 and it wasn't geoplocked (us player)
