Yeah =) and the engine for iron man 2 was pretty good it was only the controls that sucked, so they do improve them and im expecting the new gangstar to be a lot better, especially the physics so it doesnt seem like your tethered to the ground all the time
The controls weren't terrible, it was the game that was. It was the most mediocre game I've ever played... Fortunately, I don't see the same thing happening to Miami Vindication. And yes, those graphics are pretty... meh, but they have time to improve them. They probably just used modified graphics, etc. to get the gameplay and stuff finished, then are probably planning to enhance the graphics afterwards. And, as always, the game is going to look much better on an actual iDevice screen than it will on Youtube.
Lol fair point the graphics should be better when released, plus a hd version will be out for ipad eventually, as long as it plays well and doesnt lag randomly like the first one ill be happy
Wow those textures and graphics are simply terrible. And the gameplay will be terrible like the original. Now we have to wait for Rockstar to come out with a full 3D GTA.
Oh have you played this game yet? So how do you know what the gameplay will be like? Gameloft sequels generally improve alot on the gameplay so I'm guessing this won't be very different. Also gameloft have stated that the graphics in the video aren't the final graphics so don't speak too soon
Since this is coming out I went ahead and played west coast. I really do like the game. Its not the best but it's fun to drive around kill people. The only thing is after you beat all the missions and races there's nothing to do. Even though the story isn't great I still like it. I honestly think the 2nd one will be epic compared to the first.
Yeah, same feelings here so far. I just picked up West Coast Hustle last night, and even though it's not the best game ever, it's nice to have a GTA like game that's behind the back. It looked great at the time, and considering that it was one of the first open-world games, it was technologically amazing, but its age is starting to show quite a bit. Aside from a rather small amount of content (as far as guns, cars, etc. go) and some really awkward car physics, this is a really fun game. It seems like they're going to fix most of what was wrong with or missing from the first Gangstar, mainly the content and car control. And just looking at the video, aside from the overly shiny and low polygon cars, the game actually doesn't look terrible. I'm waiting to see how the upgraded graphics look.
ybeahater / gsmonkey: Enough! I for one can't wait to buy this. A sequel to Gangstar has been on the top of my wish list for ages. Now: If you're going to create a second account to backup your point of view, consider using different language and punctuation. Both of your accounts have posted messages using very few capital letters. The word 'you' abbreviated as 'u' and punctuation in odd spots. Eg commas and full stops should be at the end of a word before the space, you place them consistently after the space before the next word. Consider: You've made me really, really mad! vs u made me really ,really mad! If you're going to have two accounts and an alter ego at least invest the time creating an elaborate illusion.

I loved WCH, but there were too many invisible walls and in the story everyone dies how bad is that. Also we need hoes, man.
Yeah, hoes would be good, but I doubt it will happen, Apple probably wouldn't allow it. Strip clubs are probably more likely.
I hate people like this because they expect so much from a game for the iPhone/iPod. Just because the graphics aren't the the best and the story may be shallow its not like you should expect a full console felling from a game like this. I also hate that people say that they hate Gameloft games because its not like there is any other developer that makes better games than Gameloft. Now I do know that they steal ideas from other console games but its not like there is a better looking game than N.O.V.A. or Modern Combat: Sandstorm! But if there is I want to play it. At least there isn't one yet until Rage from 'id' software comes out. but for now dont complain about stuff when there really isn't anything better!
Nothing better? How about activisions games, gta ctw, and lots if Indy games? I do agree that people should get off gamelofts back for making shallow games, but theirs aren't even close to the best games on the app store.
