Exactly what I was thinking. They both use the "space then comma" and have similar grammar. Anway, why would an apple employee have info about an upcoming game anyway? How would anybody at Apple even know the details about this game if it hasn't been submitted yet?
Wasn't that the same kind of progression the GTA games made from III to Vice City? I don't recall much more being added to Vice City than motorbikes, new vehicles, new guns, new characters and a new setting. And if you consider what those sorts of additions bring to a game like this, that's a pretty big improvement.
Air vehicles! There were a bunch of smaller details too, being able to jump from moving vehicles, shooting through windscreens, shooting out tires and headlights etc...
I more or less included the helicopters and one plane in the new vehicles section since there weren't too many and GTAIII had a plane anyway. Nonetheless, it was an improvement. And, as you mentioned, there were plenty of small additions which seem to have been added to Gangstar 2, such as shooting people off of bikes, etc. And we can't forget the improvements to the radio. It went from repetitive and annoying in GTAIII to outright amazing in Vice City. I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping that Gangstar's soundtrack will improve like that as well.
I'm sure this game will be much better than the original. Gameloft is a quality app producer that usually improve off their previous attempts, this should no doubt be the same. This video just didn't sell me the game, but luckily it's been confirmed the video gameplay is not of the final product.
Yeah, considering the progress they've made from Brothers in Arms 1 to BIA2 and from Hero of Sparta 1-2, this is going to be huge. Even then, I think that's a bit of an understatement.
Yes, we know how hard it is to get an email adress at yahoo or whatever. If you have multiple personalitys, press 3, 4, 5 and 6.
I hope the radio ads are funny this time, on WCH they were stupid. Plus why can't they add full songs? The iPod is a mp3 player ain't it?
If you look at the minimap in the top lefthand corner throughout the trailer you get a fairly good idea of how massive this game is going to be
I'm guessing the game map will be about the size of Miami in Driver (which was pretty big). Notice that it's now an official city, not a fictional one. West Coast hustle felt more like a scaled down city that roughly resembled LA.
Just reading over this thread, you guys need kind of stop 'bullying' that Apple Employee guy. To be honest, there's a fraction of a chance that he could be employed by Apple - even if that chance is the smallest as ever. If he's been right everytime for whatever he's mentioned, don't flame him until he gets one wrong. Oh, and the point about how Apple employees wouldn't know about games? They could know about the games - at keynotes several games are shown, such as last year Gameloft showed off NOVA. Either way, that guy doesn't have proof that he does works for Apple (and his grammar doesn't do him any justice), and the rest don't have proof that he doesn't work for Apple. Nonetheless - this map looks huge from the view of the Helicopter. I can't wait.
It will be better. There will be several licensed songs Indeed the song of the trailer is from a popular drum 'n' bass band, The Qemists.
This Is great to hear, the music in CTW is one of the major attractions for me. Hoping there's plenty of variety.
