6 days left. god i really wanna see the swamp and find out if helis are mission exclusive. every screen or video of heli has been during a mission. check the minimap. the blue arrow means during a mission and the pink house means not during a mission. i bet helis arent mission exclusive. if they are itll be a dissapointment.
yes it can land on rooftops And yes the helico can be played in free roam sessions, not necessarly during missions
wow that's so nice to hear! since you answered San,can i ask if you can swim too?like from coast to coast?
Will more advanced devices (iphone4/new ipod touches)be able to take advantage of longer draw distances and more 'life' in the city?? I know it was mentioned retina support would be there. one last question. will we be able to enter buildings???
Those "idiots," ei Rockstar, would never bother to "give" you a real GTA and then sell it at a price point of 9.99 or below. If they did create a true open-world, sandbox GTA game in actual 3-d, and did it to the standards that everyone would naturally expect from them, that game would cost you anywhere between 19.99 and 29.99. This is why Gameloft exists in the first place. Gameloft clones games of well-known AAA titles and then turn around and them to us, usually for 6.99. If the devs who owned the actually IPs that Gameloft copies decided to bring the real deal to the appstore, they would not sell it for anywhere close to what Gameloft sells it for. Halo or Gran Turismo or God of War; these games would not sell for less than $30, if they existed as iDevice games, which will never happen. So, Gameloft cloned them and sold them for 6.99. Gameloft takes certain shortcuts in the developmental process that allows them to sell their games this cheap. Rockstar would never take shortcuts. It would be a matter of personal pride and integrity for them. If Rockstar created a real GTA experience and sold it for 6.99, they would lose a crap load of money.
Rockstar HAS created a really GTA experience on iPhone. Chinatown Wars. And it's $9.99. What's the last time you even visited the App Store?
It wouldn't be too hard for Rockstar to port an older GTA game such as GTA 3 or GTA: Vice City. Gameoft managed to port Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (the full PS2 game) and keep the price down. Rockstar ported GTA Chinatown Wars to the iPhone (which appears to have been pretty successful). I don't see why Rockstar wouldn't bring a full 3D GTA to the app store. Even if they charged more than $10, I still think it would sell a lot of copes.
I think he's saying that because A: it's a port and B: that it's not truly third person somehow makes it "less" of a gta game.
