nice! preview videos seem to show a lot of platforms/stairs too now if we can only get more cars/traffic and pedestrians and the ability to snipe from a few places.
Frankly, I still think the graphics look pretty mediocre. But you know what? I don't care. What I do care about is: *story: doesn't have to be great, but at least passable -- even something like what you find in a decent DTV action title would be fine. Just give me characters that have some personality and a plot that has some momentum. *a living city: the first game was so bare-bones that besides the missions there was really nothing to do. I want some surprises, things to find, bonuses to unlock. Something that rewards going off the beaten path. It's supposed to be a sandbox, after all. *decent gameplay: IMO, the first one combined a really mediocre driving game with a really mediocre shooting/brawling game. I don't expect a GTA-clone to shine in every area, but it should at least be fun to play. *a tiny bit of soul: I want the developers to put at least something of themselves into the game and not just regurgitate cliches from other games. Give it some humor, references to Besson action films, anything. It's the details that make Rockstar games shine -- you get a sense that those folks watch movies, read books, etc. I'm not really expecting any of this, but wouldn't it be nice if Gameloft managed to surprise us (as they did with Ultimate Spider-Man)?
The graphics looks great to me. I actually bought Gangstar 1 on release day; I might just have to do the same with this game. Even though I have about 1/3 of Gangstar 1 uncompleted.
This game looks amazing, Only thing I'm worried about is the loading of the buildings and cars, I hated the way things just popped up in WCH. Hurry up and release this Gameloft!
So then the next? The podcast said that it will be available in the next couple of weeks, so it can only come out next week right? Oh, and San, will we get any more information about the game before next week's release? .

I think the next thing they will do is release another trailer. Then release the game. Check touchgen. They will get a hands on soon. Now peds duck when you shoot. Cool.
