What if the ninth podcast isn't gangstar? Why do they call it gangstar instead of gangster or gangsta? Also do you think this is the final installment? I hope if this is good they will do one final awesome one in 2011-2012 and it'll be better than the first two.

New gameplay video looks great. It looks like they have improved the graphics, the previous video must've been taken from an early build (as I suspected).
yeah ill be getting this. although an online mode would be nice...itd be awesome having 12 people on 1 map in a survival thing. steal cars drive around till u find em then shoot out
That looks amazing. RPG. And the heli is non mission exclusive! And only a couple if weeks. So probably between september 20th and 27th. And new cop models. And voice acting. And finally cursing. The first game didnt feel realistic because they wouldn't go through killings and stuff without at least one curse. Maybe this will get a 17+ rating. Looks awesome.
The graphics do look better. I don't think they really increased the polygon counts of cars much over the first trailer, but they seemed to have refined the textures being layered on top so the cars look more detailed. The character polygon counts has gone up which was the other noticeable problem, although this may just be improved texturing again plus some physics/animation improvements. The other improvement seems to be texture streaming improvements for the environment since the effective draw distance before transitions from high quality background textures to low quality background textures seems longer. My remaining concerns are that while background draw distance has improved, character and vehicle pop-in distances seem to still be pretty close. Pedestrian density is also low to non-existent in most of the footage. Now I understand the limitation is the CPU, especially on 1st and 2nd gen devices, but hopefully vehicle and pedestrian density can scale either automatically or through an optional setting for 3rd gen devices and newer. And does an iPhone/iPad simultaneous release imply it's an universal app? Even if it's not, this might be the first time Gameloft has released an iPhone and iPad version simultaneously although I haven't been paying attention to that. In any case, they've now publicly stated that Gangstar will have "professional voice acting". We'll have to hold them to that. All in all, a very exciting title. I guess coming in a few weeks, means it won't be September 14. Maybe they'll release a 2nd official trailer on the 14th with the release date.
