If this is anywhere near as good as Spiderman, this will be a win.

 

Yea spiderman was great but away too short. I beat it in 2 hrs only dying 3 times. Twice on rhino and once on doc ock.

 

if only they used Nova graphics with at least 20 different civilians and depending on the gangsters you kill, at least 5 different looks for their minions

 

I'm sure sacrifices have to be made graphically in order to render a true open-world 3-D game with no load times that will run on lesser devices. Like it or not, Gameloft is in the business of making money. They have made it abundantly clear that in order to make as much money as humanly possible they will not abandoned older tech. This game will run on 2 gen devices, for certain, and probably even 1st gen. Because of that, it will not be as technically impressive as it could have been potentially. Although I'm sure it will be an upgrade over the first game. It won't look like Spider-man though. It won't look nearly THAT good.

I think the Nova engine is meant to be used with FPS games and not open world games?

 

I think it was the perfect length.

 

I heard today was a possible date. Fake. Now some utubers say September 8th. I hope that is true because I wanna drib that heli and see what kinda licensed tracks they got. Mafia 2 tracks were great.

 

September is the date iOS 4.1 is comming. But seriously, gameloft always makes a trailer with the release date first.

 

So how long after the announcement trailer do they announce the date? I hope this comes before October 1st.

 

Anyone think this will have a loading screen like Vice City? I mean, if Rockstar did it they can't be blamed for having one.

 

If they want to take the title for ultimate crime sim for a handheld they'll need interiors. So loading screens While loading interiors are fine. Probably no interiors. They won't pay that much attention to detail. But at least upgrade the gun shop so we can see inside instead of the menu.

 

I meant that Vice City had two islands, and traveling from one island to the other had a loading screen.

Loading screens for going indoors is a given, though.

 

Yea but in the trailer when you are in the heli it seems as if you can go withoutnloading screens. I wonder if u can jump out of the heli and parachute down. Just cause 2 and San Andreas. Also somebody talked to game loft and they said September 8th at latest. Of course this is not proven.

It may or may not, MC2 will probably be their top priority.

 

Gameloft usually aren't like that, since we've already seen a gameplay trailer we will probably be seeing this soon
