Yeh, a co-op mode would be fantastic, but like you said, I don't know if that would be possible to do in an already very ambitious game, but it is Gameloft, and I was amazed that they were able to create a 3-D GTA for the iPhone - but, they did.
Here is another video of Gang$tar. The video really shows how ambitious this game is (take a look at how big the map is at 42 seconds in, the use of the accelerometer for driving, and a few other awesome features. (Warning! - The video's audio track does contain some bad language)

i think this game could be released in the first week of august we will see if they push it in the next week or 2
We can all hope. But if it takes another week or two after that, I won't be that bothered - since they're probably adding an extra little polish to the game.
i hope i have enough money to buy it ....hopefully it will be 10dallors ...but if it needs 3.0 then i cant buy it
The maps bigger than expected. All these videos yet no release grrr... Only joking I want this game to be good so im willing to wait another month
Judging by the fact that it utilises the iPod playlist "radio station" 3.0 feature, I would guess that it would only be available for 3.0 - unless they make an update / different version that allows 2.2, but doesn't have 3.0 features built in.
i dont know what to think some guy told me it would work with older versions and 3.0 was just so you can listen to your own music..
I'm not absolutely sure, but I guess that if Gameloft wanted to make as much money as possible, they would get the game to work on 2.2 as well, and just scrap the iPod playlist feature.
Looking at the video carefully, I noticed that the game menu says: "Gang$tar 2: Kings of L.A. - I thought the game was called Gang$tar: West Coast Hustle I realise that Gang$tar 2: Kings of L.A. is a real game, but I thought that it was on other smartphones, and that West Coast Hustle was an original game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Could someone please clear this up for me?
Not sure what this means but looking at the gameloft website it says that there have already been 2 mobile gangstar games the second one called this. Maybe in an early version of this game they decided to name it that as to say it was an alternative version http://www.gameloft.co.uk/mobile-games/gangstar-2-king-of-la/
They probably changed it after they thought people may go searching on the app store looking for the first one. Pesonally i prefer west coast hustle to kings of la
Yeh, I prefer "West Coast Hustle" too. I just had a thought that it may be to do with the localisation. In the english version it says: "West Coast Hustle", and in the foreign video, it says: "Kings of L.A." Just a thought.
