that might be a deal breaker. I don't like games with illegal drugs in them(then again I'm just buying this because I can do whatever I want...).
i bet apple is like should we not approve this due to the content or risk losing gameloft and one of the best game ever....... APPLE turn a blind eye to this please
LMAO I never said it was drugs! I just said it wasn't candy! XD Edit: Oh nevermind, selling drugs.... I said that before... Crap.
Are you guys concerned about the content because some of it might warrant a 17+ rating? Which would mean some of you actually need your parents permission to buy Gangstar...
well their one of the biggest app/game developers on the iphone so i dont see why they wouldnt get help from an apple approver all along the way of development to make sure they dont get rejected and to save time instead of going back, fixing, re-submitting etc. wouldnt you do that if you were in a big iphone gaming company? so yes, they very much can
It's just one of those things we all have to wonder about. Whether or not some developers get special treatment? Is it fair? In the end whatever the answers are it doesn't really matter. Apple needs to improve on the approval process A LOT if they wanna keep all the eager developers. Stories keep popping up about devs that are boycotting the app store until it is fixed. I'm kind of hoping that if/when they have their september event to [hopefully] announce the new iTouch that they also announce a major upgrade to the app store and the approval process. I know it won't happen. But I can wish. All I know is this, I want to be a developer once I can finally get my hands on a Mac (hopefully not too long now) but I myself have been backing away from the idea lately because of all the approval problems. I find myself thinking to myself "Just leave it to the people already out there hard at work. Just support their efforts and sit back and stay out of the mess."
Apple needs to come clean and tell everybody what their garbage app approval process is, because there way too many contradictions. Also the app store wastes developers time when they make a game, just to find out it can't be put in the store.
Pretty sure drugs aren't in this. Gameloft expects a 16+ ERSB rating, including drugs would bump it up to 18+.
That's probably why the approval system is so bad here in the appstore. I think Apple should consider getting ERSB to rate for them. Ya srsly. I'm mad because Apple has so much trouble letting good games in, but they lets hundreds upon hundreds of DS Effects and Khalid 'whatever' games into the appstore.
