It doesn't matter for me how big the file is. it can be 1 gig big if it has to, as long as it has a huge map, many cars, character customization and a long story. Oh man I just ordered an iphone 3g S But if this game is going to be a huge WIN *thumbsup*, I hope they'll make other parts, like GTA liberty city stories, vice city stories etc. ^^
It doesn't have character customisation - read the report. Wouldn't mind it being a gig in size but only if it is worth 1/8th of my memory.
I doubt it will be a gig. Could be half though. And is it just me, becuase in the videos of the game the car looks crooked. I wish the graphics were better . You can't see through the window.
We already know from PocketGamerUK that the game will have about fifteen hours of story, which is longer than the twelve hours of LCS. They are not doing character customization, although I wish it would. There won't be voiceovers most likely, so it should be easy for them to insert a character's custom name into the text based dialogue if they wanted to.
Yeah I know there won't be character customization, that's why I said I doubt it. As in they could add it, after everybody got to report the beta builds, so I doubt they would add CC.... that's what I meant, lol. Yeah, 15 hours of story!!! That actually doesn't bother me, as long as it's over 5, I'm fine. I only want this mainly for free roaming. When I'm bored, that's when I play on my iPod touch, and I'll most likely free roam in this game when I'm bored. I'll only do the missions/story chapters when I'm EXTREMELY bored Jeez, I don't know about you guys, but I just wanna discuss and talk about this game.... I love this thread! I'm never really into story that much either. I just care about gameplay. That's how I approach this. I want a 3D free roaming game for my iPod Touch that will let me just mess around, although I am rather interested in what they did with the story. Yeah. I like talking about it because I'm sick of waiting. Ok, lets start by saying we hope they submit it before Wednesday. It might be too late, but I'm still hoping.
If this doesn't have an epic storyline as GTA IV did, this stuff isn't going to last a week on my device. The game must have great physics, a nice variety of weapons[ better be an RPG-7], and an epic Storyline to ensure my purchase. I'm serious here.
I wish they could have gotten voice actors. I wouldn't mind an increase of file size for that. I hope the game can fit on my iPod (1.1gb left... ).
I don't think anyone has said this yet so I might as well go ahead... I hope there's going to be cheats ... Fly around with a jetpack, have tanks, boats, motorcycles,etc. in the game ... By the way, I think the game is just going to be 300+ mb to the game.. I don't really think it's going to be that big since it's only based on 1 map (I think... or maybe more maps, which i THINK I heard over the forums somewhere...)
nah i don't think you would be able to do that. i bet you will only be able to drive cars and motorbikes. so you wont have any jetpacks, planes, heli's etc and i dont think there will be cheats, but thats my thought.
Hopefully a couple more weeks. But you never know, Gameloft have been working on this over a year, and generally, the longer the time they spend on a game, the less accurate their predictions are. Also Apple may take a while to see if it fit's their stupid criteria which allows apps which can track pedophiles yet they won't accept a dictionary app which contains 'rude' words.
Um, are you upset by the pedophile tracking app? Does it cramp your style? j/k.. but odd choice for an example of a "bad" app.. seems to be very much in the public's interest.
