This looks awesome, looks like it'll blow CJS out of the water. Hope this one doesn't get rejected. Will be keeping a lookout for this one.
looks awesome. it'll all come down to frame rate and non-lagginess for me. if it jerks like buggery on my 1st gen when i try out the Lite (hopefully) it'll soon become obvious
Judging by the graphics, there may be less roaming cars and people than in games like the " GTA Stories" series. That or it will have as many people and it's gonna be a big file.
Wow, 19.99, if the game is really long, like GTA, I would get it, but still really expensive, for an iPhone game. If the story mode is good, and if there are aerial vehicles, 19.99 would be worth it. If it was priced at 4.99 or so, it would probably be one of the top few games.
Very cool. Full 3D world with open gaming goodness. Sure there may not be a lot of cars or people roaming the world but it would be sweet if Gameloft has a 3GS mode for the game very doubtful but would be awesome
I really can't wait for this game! The graphics look on par with Vice City on the PS2, and the gameplay and art direction looks very similar too. I am just a little worried that with such an ambitious title, what will the file size be, and will it play without any lag on the iPhone? PayBack was a far less ambitious game than Gang$tar, and that was still a 222MB download. What file size do you think Gangstar will be?
Does it really matter what the file size will be? Unless you've got very little space left, then I'd say the important thing is that it plays well.
I think it does matter, because if you have an 8GB iphone, and the game is a 1GB+ file, then that is more than 1/8 of your memory gone on just one app. But I agree with you that the game's performance is priority.
The 1st gen iPod Touch users should not worry actually, it only has 2 gens.. I was worried for the 1st gen iphone ownrs though. does n kno wats this gonna cost ? Game Looks Great! thats a rare one for Gameloft games on iPhone, eh ? I also lyk the Asphalt 5
the olny thing i want in the asphalt series is online play, and asphlat 5 is going to do that but if it didn't then i don't see the point in playing it, i'll just play real racing or NFS. /offtopic. This game now ranks 1st in my list of most wanted upcoming gaes: 1. Gangstar 2. LiveFire 3. Dexter
If this is $19.99 I wouldn't be surprised because if it's almost like the real GTA and has tons of replayiblity and it has long gameplay time, I can understand it being bucks. I would fork out 20 bucks for this game though. The most I would pay is $10.
YEAH!!! This will be by far my best iPod touch game, although i haven't even got it (i'm guessing it will be) i want this mainly because of the open-world.
