Testing Does anybody know when the testers are going to be picked? I sent my application in and I know that they aren't taking applications after midnight tonight
presumably tomorrow or the day after that, though maybe later as there were so many applications you havent tested those gameloft games have you? i mean wtf...
I have I did beta test those games. I beta test xbox 360 games an iPod games. I'm friends with a few xbox and iPod game testers and the iPod game testers got me a beta test job so I get to test some gameloft games. Not a lot though because gameloft is a company were they usually use their own employees to do beta testing
You fail. I never tried the first one but this one looks really good, will definitely be picking this up once it's released.
Bullshit. Alright, if you really know Gameloft and tested even one of their games, what's the name of their US public relations lead? If you don't know, you're lying. And don't say "Oh, my friend set me up with it, etc. etc. so I don't know the name." The person has to send you the build and files to be able to test. And one last test. What type(s) of files are used when you are sent the game when you beta test? If you don't know this one, I'm also calling bullshit.

wow another thing i don't understand. why make a big deal out of this. obviously gameloft has beta testers. every company does and just because they don't put a "wanted add" on touch arcade doesn't mean you cant become a tester. i got the job through people i know. one way to become a beta tester for gameloft or even lionhead studios, email your resume. that's all you have to do. if your lucky you'll get a response.

Yup, at least you're smart enough to use Google. However, you don't get the .app file immediately. What type of file is it before that? In addition, I talk with Gameloft people on average on a weekly basis. I know for a fact that they don't accept outside testers. Only people that work AT Gameloft get to beta test.
