[GAMEVIL] All about ZENONIA 2: The Lost Memories

Not the best pre-review by pocketgamer.....

Complaining about bad controls and blurry graphics. Please, beta testers & gamevile, make sure to address these issues!

I couldnt stand the blurry graphics of zenonia - it bugged me the whole time i played it. I was hoping that it would be a no brainer to clean that up for zenonia 2.

 

do we or have we gotten a suggested release date/month/date range?

I mean I heard sometime in march, but it's march and it's in a second closed beta.

 

I'm still playing Zenonia right now but a sequel sounds awesome! Thanks for making an awesome role-playing game.

 

Yeah, those were the first two things I thought could use a bit of improvement. The controls were a bit hard to hit and the graphics were a bit blurry, but again, it's only a beta, and with enough user input will most likely be improved.

Other than that, the game is awesome. I can't say any more other than it's a great sequel to a great game.

I'm guessing that my post isn't giving away anything new that Gamevil doesn't want leaked. It was already addressed in a preview, so I should be fine.

 

controls are actually big improvement if you compare to Zenonia1.

 

Ehhh... not really... I never missed the buttons in Zenonia 1, but I've been missing the d-pad quite a bit in Z2. It may have been my control layout though, not sure. That said, the new item/skill slots are much better this time around.

 

Missing the d-pad? d-pad in Z2 is customizable.. you can place d-pad anywhere on the left side of the screen for your comfort, so you dont have to miss the d-pad lol.....

whoops this is Closed Beta.. we shouldn't dicuss too much stuff in open thread lol...

 

Yeah, I think I might have moved it a bit too close to the edge of the screen... I'll try fixing that next time I play.

And for your information I was only stating the obvious, seeing as that he has alot of experience in computers and what not, shouldn't be an excuse for the app to not run.

I am motivated to help Gamevil test this game for a few reasons. First of all I actually really enjoy playing RPG type games. I love the concept of leveling up in games in order to make your character stronger. I also really enjoy beta testing games for prominent App developers such as Gamevil. I like to help test these games for a few reasons. I enjoy helping companies such as yourselves to help discover any bugs that can be found in these games and thus help to make the games better when they are released on the App Store. I also enjoy telling users about how great the game is once the testing is over (if it is permitted). Personally for me its not about the gift card or any of that. It is about trying to help make the game better so that we, the consumers will be able to get more out of it.

It doesn't matter...even if someone has it they can't use it. Only I can. Even if they do use it for beta testing it won't work for them.
