This really IS a great day (Like the title of your post suggests)! I got picked for the Zenonia 2 beta, I got Xbox Live Gold, and a quiz that I would have completely bombed on some random art has been postponed until tomorrow!
Well, this is my lucky day too: 1. I managed to get in Zenonia 2 Tests. 2. I won 10$ from Com2Us. 3. I won Sailboat Chpionship PRO from iDreams Software. 4. I passed computer science test at 10/10. It's a pity this day is about to end soon
gratz! i knew you would make it...Well, today was my unlucky day... everything i did went wrong, my english essay test at school did not make any sense at all to me, and i have BIG test coming up... REALLY BIG TEST that could affect rest of my life... lol.. and i have bunch of exams, quizzes, and projects due this week omg... but everything will be done by the 18th wohoo...lol the day after the start of CBT .. i start CBTing one day after everyone else :/
Well, just a day to look forward to. I'm actually pretty bored waiting now since I only have a few friends on XBL right now and all I really play is MW2. I wish I had a mic so I could play Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead 2, or actually strategize in Nazi Zombies. I'll probably pick one up tomorrow night. So yeah, I have a feeling that other than this game and XBL, it's going to be a somewhat dull week. Zenonia 2 is going to be the highlight of my week lol. And for those who didn't make it, remember there's always someone looking for testers. Even if it's not a big company like Gamevil, there's usually at least 1 indie dev that's looking for a tester. Taking place in those betas will always help your future applications. And you never know, those games might become popular too. There's definetly going to be more betas that you can try out for too. In fact, Hybrid 2 is apparently in the works, and that's definetly something to look into. Sorry to you guys who couldn't make it this time around, but good luck to you in later betas. And congrats to anyone else who made it. This is going to be awesome!
Yeah but what I don't get is why I didn't get in. Look at how many games I've tested! Many from Com2uS, a big name developer. I can't even remember all the games I've tested. I had a good motivations section too. Its probably some rivalry between the two companies. Dumb really.
Well, I can't say, but there's a possibility that it could be a slight rivalry, but I'd hope that it's not what's going on. I'm sure they'll reply with a reason or some suggestions either tomorrow or wednesday.

You tested two of their games (not trying to be mean at all in any way so don't take it that way), I tested 6-7 and have a strong relationship with the company. From what I have read in Gamevil's forums Gamevil and Com2uS have a rivalry going on which is why I assume I wasn't accepted.
I'm basically a permanent tester for Com2uS, but I still get into Gamevil betas. I won't comment on the rivalry at all whatsoever, but you probably know what my opinion on agreement or disagreement on that is. Maybe because I got in because I have a good relationship with their PR Lead? Right, Daniel?
Same I've been with Com2uS from the start and have been in their betas ever since. I honestly don't know your opinion but I'm sure its disagreement. And lucky that you know their PR lead. I have a better relationship with the person who runs the main admin account on the Com2uS forums (not naming names) but not with anyone at Gamevil.
