WHAT IS THAT?!?!? GAMEVIL LIVE?!?!?! Ok i am seriously thinking about getting this game now. Still have doubts though I need more info to make my decision...
I am sick of $0.99 games recently. just play 2 or 3 times made me quit.. I need a long playtime. well, is this long enough? can I expect this is it like ZENONIA?
Gamevil Live is not a social platform, it is only a feature that shows all their other games. Similar to Gameloft's "g" button in all their games. And the gameplay for this game should take the average person A LOT longer than 10 hours.
This game is gonna be awesome, looking forward to zenonia 2, hybrid and gameloft's dungeon hunter, all released this month!
Come on.... Please come out soon! I'm SO lookin forward to it. Sorry if people already asked, but what're the guesses on cost? 6 like zenonia was? Or are they gonna put it to 7 like gameloft, or even go lower so people will get it instead? Can't wait though!
Can't wait! It feels like forever since I heard it was submitted to Apple's slow, useless approval process... Hopefully the price won't be too high or it will have a launch sale because I was planning to get Blades of Fury and I only have about 10 bucks left. How much longer must Apple take on this!!!!! And a quick question. How did you guys become beta testers? Is there an official thing where you have to apply or do you just ask the dev as I wanted to get into testing some games.
Developers usually just ask you to beta test for them. Give valuable feedback on games, and you will stand out.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully i get a shot at a game sometime. Ill try to give more info on games i buy now.
When they say "we have submitted and now is waiting for approval" it just gets me really frustrated. Who knows how long it will take Apple to review a game like this and nitpick all the possible reasons this game could be rejected like "incorrect description format" or "typo in the submission form" or whatever, while garbage like fart apps almost always go through. Would be better if they could just surprise us when it's been approved and put up for sale, that would create far less disappointments.
Dude I know... they should just do away with the approval process almost compeltely. They should do a quick runover of the games to make sure there's no copyright infringement or anything too bad in it contentwise, then let it go. The approval system right now with all the apps being submitted now takes upwards of about a month for it to go through, and I can't wait any longer for this or I think I'm going to have a heart attack.
I'm pretty sure that Apple aren't doing this for fun. There are good reasons why the apps submitted to the appstore have to go through a careful control process. Those reasons easily outweigh the need to immediately satisfy impatient kids.
Apple's entire app approval process is suffering from laziness and incompetence and general short-staffing. Those "reasons" you're referring to are simply a product of their finnicky system of organisation. Objectional applications are approved seemingly without issue whilst more complete applications are delayed due to minor keyword inconsistencies which cause weeks of release backlog. In fact, the whole system is far too mechanical, from automatically generated emails to a lack of communication altogether. I would not be surprised to learn an army of monkeys are manning a bunch of iphones in a room after which a computer then checks the source for consistency. For something that will make apple purported billions, it sure isn't being treated with the care and attention it deserves.
Well the thing is that the approval system just doesn't work. At all. Otherwise they would have gotten guys like Kalhid Shaikh or whoever it was way before they could get hundreds of pages of apps out, most of which violate many copyrights and break other rules. They also really don't even care about the quality either. The only reasons I've heard a game get rejected for were A.) Violence in Hill Billy which Doom has plenty of now B.) C64 for using BASIC, and C.) A couple because there were issues with 3.0. If the approval system worked and prevented crap from getting into the appstore, I wouldn't mind waiting so much, but it just isn't working so far. I originally saw it as like the Nintendo Seal on games from the n64 on where it would protect us from crappy games/apps, but once I saw games from ds effects hit the store i lost all hope in that.
