Super Monkey Ball 2- I want to like the game but I'm struggling mightily with the controls and find that the camera constantly moves to odd angles making it even harder to figure out the controls. Word Fu- Awesome single player experience but I also want to play multiplayer but it is so unstable I'm lucky if I can even get a game to start much less finish one.
Completely agree on Angry Birds. The dev support is great but the game is so frustrating. It has no element of skill involved (unlike Cut the Rope) and is overly difficult and boring. I have removed the list in the op but will reinstate it in a different form if wanted.
Battle Blasters The Settlers Zombie Infection And a whole bunch of free games that I got, but I can't really complain since they were all free. I have really liked most of Gamelofts games, and most of the paid games I've got.
I can see your point on some of the things you said but the first two I would like you to say more on so I can understand better. Shooting different birds from a sling shot at green pigs held up in makeshift buildings to save your stolen golden eggs seems pretty original to me. And what is your standard for content in a .99c game?
In other words: Games you wish you didn't buy As to the little content in Angry Birds stated above, it is probably one of, if not the best supported app out there and the amount of levels is staggering. Maybe he is referring to it having little variation in which case it's true.
NOVA MC Sandstorm BIA2 Why oh why did I buy all of them, so shalllow, so boring. Gameloft should just do ports or get an original idea, driver is good
250 out of my 400 paid apps. I wish I could get rid of all the casual and puzzle games that I bought. Sigh.. Definitely content with all the gameloft games I bought though, each at debut pricing.
Battle bears ravensword NBA live ravensword is ok but gets boring after 20 minutes. The other 2 are really bad.
Shrek kart Cromag rally Nanosaur Super monkey ball And many more apps I bought right when the AppStore opened.
I don't buy expensive games unless they are on sale, so it would be silly to say I regret buying any of them, except maybe the ones that I could have gotten for free if I had just waited. This is the best hobby I've ever had in terms of fun per dollar spent. And I've had quite a few hobbies. I think I've spent a little over $100 and I have over 450 games that are not currently free. It's unbelievable.
I agree, Cut the Rope blows Angry Birds out of the water in every way. Although I can't say I regret buying it - my girlfriend definitely got my 99c worth out of it
Super Monkey Ball 2. I was so bored even after the first level! Pocket God. Was okay for about 5 mins. NFS Shift. Not as good as it sounds. Undercover was better. Infinity Project. As much as I like to support small devs, this had no point to it - it just seemed like running round shooting people and collecting key cards. The massive update, IMO, made it worse.
Little content? Apart from the 195 levels over 4 worlds with constant updates; 15 gold egg levels, also updated and game centre acheivements, I suppose there is little content, yes.
