I recently purchased Expedition: Beyond the Walls and I'm really enjoying it. This is a strategy game that uses themed dice and has a ton of depth with plenty of difficulty. There's a lot to learn to become great at this game, and that's exactly what kind of game I'm looking for more of.

Other games I'd consider to have great depth are:
    -roguelikes like iNethack
-big RPG's with lots of skills, classes, and strategies like The Quest or Zenonia 2
-a board game like Neuroshima Hex... very good game

There's plenty more I could choose, but you get the idea.

What games do you consider to have great depth?

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
And... it's back! Haven't heard that name in a long time...

And check out Crimson Gem Saga and Necromancer Rising. Plenty of stuff to do in both games.

    At random:

    Civilization Revolution
    RK's Samurai
    Puzzle Maniak
    Last Gladiator 2010
    Ynth/Beyond Ynth
DragonBane II (and to some extent Princess Demelza)
iDropDead FE (surprising depth/replayability for a ragdoll game...)
Other Roguelikes - Rogue Touch would be the next best complex one...
    Battle of Wesnoth
    War of Eustrath
    Shining Force
    Slay
Subway Shuffle (this one gets really really hard)
    Sherlock
    Trainyard (also gets difficult)

PathPix, PathPix Pro, and Piczle Lines-- puzzle games based on a simple, but very fun and deep concept.

Trainyard, not really a RPG but requires a LOT of thinking as your progress.
