Hey guys I get bored with games very quickly from adventure to rpg to action to racing...etc etc. Just would like to know what game kept you hooked and kept that ios device glued to your hands. Thanks
There was "this" 3D MMORPG that kept me hooked for 2.5 years... Luckily the devs nerfed the game completely and so I lost interest in it... I also spent/wasted more than 200$. It was a real addiction. And the saddest part is that I never even hit the level cap... I'd rather not name it. I also played Eliminate pro (best online FPS) for a year, but unfortunately the player base suddenly disappeared. Other non-mmo games were Heroes & Castles (multiplayer 1v1, specifically), Organ Trail and COD WaW Zombies.
Beat hazard cause it has such a good music visualizer has from day one always been a game I play once in awhile.
- Penumbear - 100 levels, hidden areas, tough platforming - Mage Gauntlet - Fantastic Contraption 2 - Trainyard - Super Hexagon - maybe not the deepest, but so addictive, had me hooked for days
Beat Mikey Shorts which is definitely a favorite of mine and worms 2. Did you like gangstar Vegas? It's been pretty tempting to purchase
Mikey hooks and worms 3 are coming tomorrow. I liked gangstar Vegas but I wouldn't recommend it because it has no replayability, once you finish the story you just get boring side missions . However it is on sale for $4.99 so it may be worth it.
Ravenmark:Mercenaries, great turnbased multiplayer strategy game. Also, Ravenmark:Scourge of Estellion, the singleplayer campaign-based first game. Games by Mangobile: Kingturn, etc. (yes, I really like TBS) Baldur's Gate: still not finished, never enough time... RPGs by Spiderweb Software: Avadon, Avernum, etc. King of Dragon Pass, coming back to it a few times a year.
Games with depth that got me hooked... KOTOR TWEWY XCOM Chaos Rings 1, Omega and 2 Deus Ex The Fall Also, Abyss Attack, I Dig It & Ridiculous Fishing... There's much depth involved here.
On iOS: Kingturn series Fall of Angels The Quest Starbase Orion King of Dragon Pass Final Fantasy Dimensions Lords of Midnight Ravenmark:Scourge of Estellion Final Fantasy Tactics
Eh it's just... One of the greatest games ever!? You'll be surprised by the depth of this game. It may seem very hard to beat it but I'm sure you can figure it out. Organ trail is also the game with most replay-ability in my opinion... And the developers also added a mini-game called "Clement's Quest", an endless mode and the suicide difficulty, which added a lot to the replay-ability. Also, if you'll need any help beating the game, you're welcome to PM me. I doubt there are many on this forum who can say that they beat the game on "suicide" difficulty Just a warning before buying the game: - the game is hard and sometimes very, very frustrating but because of that, also very rewarding - some people (noob dual stick lovers) have a problem with the controls when scavenging.
Wow there's been so many responses I'm gonna have to try organ trail for sure...and most likely just drop $20 on XCOM. More suggestions will help since tomorrow is pay day ill be more than likely picking up around 5 games to try
Pretty much anything by Foursaken Media is addictive and have a ton of depth. Bug Heroes (this one's free) Heroes and Castles Block Fortress Try those three.
Heroes and Castles is a permanent on my iPhone but I couldn't really get into Block Fortress maybe when I get an iPad the bigger screen will convince me. Never heard of big heroes but ill def check it out.
