So with Tiger Woods PGA Tour already and Madden '10 coming "soon", do you think it would be cool to have games (including updates for bug fixes, etc.) like that have updates each year, so that when the end of 2010 rolls around, Madden '10 would be updated to Madden '11, along with all the new features in the new game? Or do you think EA will just want our money and make a new $9.99 game each year?
Is that not how it is on every other console? Of course there will be a new version with new features, if iPhone gaming lasts that long.
I mean like instead of EA making a whole other game, they update the past year's version to the current year's version. So, for example, you have Madden '10, you check your updates, and there's a Madden '10 2.0 update. You update, and it's now Madden '11.
But some older Madden versions are better than the new ones. I'd rather see different versions, and that's what they will do.
this is the exact reason I don't buy premium apps anymore. They have no resale or trade in value. I'm cemented in for life with hundreds of dollars of games, that can never be sold or given away. The non-gaming apps make it worth it in the long run though, dictionary&thesuarus, HDD, music creation, scientific calculator, organizer, starmap, and media remote, and many many more, all in my pocket. I only have one game for each sport, only because I trade in the previous years game for the new one.
