Last night I had one of the funnest gaming sessions ever. Sitting on the bus home playing Danmaku Unlimited 2 on my i5 with about 10 schoolkids watching while losing their mind and going crazy behind me. For that reason I have pronounced my love and committed to DU2. It will never leave my device
Bejeweled Blitz : the sound and visual feedback are incredibly simple but well executed. Cut the rope: hard pressed to find inputs better suited for the touch screen. Plants VS. Zombies: once again input mechanics are perfect for touch and the gameplay is simple and layered. Any angry birds: the amount of content they include in a game is staggering even if I tire quickly of the gameplay which is more about chance than skill. And... After reading other replies, yes TR2! Great for touch and I love the addition of the minecart even though I almost never get there#
I used to keep all the Angry Birds games installed, except Space which I didn't get, and eventually realised that I was updating them more often than I actually launched them to play them. Kids seem to love them though...
Updating more than launching, so true! I did that for Mafia Wars and when I finally booted it to actually play it, they had stopped supporting it!
adding Knights of Pen & Paper Enviro-Bear 2010 Skotos Tech (games; money, high society etc) Wrestling Revolution PRO
I support this post. There aren't many games I can safely say will never leave my device, but I think Brogue is likely to stay on there for a long time. Roguelikes never really age and this is one of the best I've played.
Dead Runner is probably the only game that I will never have uninstalled. I would go with Cut the Rope and it's cousins, but I accidentally deleted them once after getting 3 stars in all boxes and then I redownloaded and saves were gone, so I haven't played since.
Geovertex. Ok it's not a game. It's an awesome game creator with amazing possibilities .... Well worth 69p before the price goes up with the update. The dev is also active in the apps thread here and currently adding user suggested features as free updates... This will never leave my phone. I suggest any creative types grab this before its price goes up with the update. Btw. I'm nothing to do with the dev , I'm promoting this here because I love this awesome little app and think it deserves more exposure.
If I had to pick, I'd say my top three would be: Polara Best runner of 2012 IMO Indiana Stone While the screenshots and description may look rather boring, everyone just HAS to try it! (same with Polara) Might just be my 2013 runner of the year! Geovertex As bigred447 mention earlier, not so much a game, but a fantastic game creator that has an amazingly small filesize and infinite possibility.
Been a month since last bump, and can't believe I missed this, so here goes my list for games that'll probably stay for a LONG time (32g iPhone). Note that I cannot stand games that aren't 4' optimized. Doodle Jump Block Fortress Fruit Ninja Fifa 13/..14? GOF2 HD GTA: Vice City Heroes and Castles Minecraft Jetpack Joyride Jet ball Temple Run: Oz Ski Safari Bastion Storm Raiders: Air Supremacy I'm probably not going to spend any more on iOS as Samsung and their devices are simply phenomenal these days with their features. Nevertheless, my requirement for games is quite high and I have a tendacy to delete some of your favourite titles (agent dash, tiny troopers 2, etc) List of undecided: Angry birds/star wars/seasons Asphalt 7 Bike Baron The Blockheads Horn Kingdom Rush Robot Unicorn Attack 2 Of course, there are some phenomenal games such as cut the rope, vector, league of evil etc. that are completable and not very worth replaying especially with a plethora of new games always coming out. I remember when Tap Tap Revenge was the Angry Birds of today...
NBA Jam Final Fantasy Tactics Lara Croft Space Invaders Infinity Jean MOS Speedrun Bastion Samurai 2: Vengence Red Conquest Hector Bouncy Mouse Pix'n LoveRush Shibuya Hungry Master Meow Meow Happy Fight solomon's Keep Axe in Face RK's Labyrinth Minotron 2112 Robot Wants Kitty Air Supply Alien Swarm Death Rally Mushihimesama Continuity 2 Where's My Water Cubis Creatures One Tap Hero Dungeon Hunter 2 Pocket RPG Dungelot Can Knockdown 3 Fairway Solitaire Forget Me Not Tasty Tadpoles Indiana Stone Blockwick Nyxquest League of Evil 774 Deaths Inferno+ Rayman Run Riot Rings Rocket Riot Sonic 1 & CD Swordigo Mini Squaron Twin Go Lux Touch Hoth TD
Well my list of five.. Bastion..(due to the various arena segments and I'm a super fan).. Frozen synapse..(The replay value is through the roof and beyond) Ascension..(The best deck building game I've played on IOS) Ace Patrol..(I treat this title as a board game due to the pass and play mode) Nimble Quest..(The ultimate evolution of the mobile snake game)
No game is permanent on my mini.. But I love Kingdom Rush and GeoDefense, which has been on every iTouch I have owned. I don't play it much anymore, as it becomes old after the first1000x you play it. Seriously, other than those 2, I don't have anything else that I won't be willing to delete.
