im with you. id take even paper toss over any FPS, TPS, and whatever other game genre that ends with Shooter. fed up of them, and if i ever find myself wanting to play a good shooter (will be years at least i imagine) i will DEFINITELY not be looking to play it on my itouch.
I disagree with Canabalt. A free flash game about jumping converted to a $2.99 app in my opinion is not best of the year worthy. Same with fantastic contraption. I personally would have gone with Harbor Master over Flight control even though I hate the genre. Also Tap Tap, Eliminate, or Paper toss do not deserve to be up there. I think Minisquadron, MiniGore, Lexic, Soosiz, and iBlast Moki should be there.

Oh okay. You acknowledge that Canabalt isn't the perfect game and there's room for improvement, but felt the best way to express your opinion was to show total disregard for how much effort gets put into developing a game because you think $2.99 apps are only fit for people with gold-plated Cadillacs.
