Just for those wondering what replies I got from the N devs: Later I just emailed them the suggested control method BTW.
Did the response come after you sent the email with suggested control shceme. And I thought of another control set accelometer(left-right) jump button in top right corner where game isn't taking place
I'd like to see a portable version of Dominions. There's Reign of Swords which is closest you can get to that sort of game.
Or in bottom left a small left-rite d-pad, on bottom right jump bottom neither of which taking up enough room to take out of gamepay-I'm just filed with ideas
Dominions looks pretty cool. We're actually planning a medieval-ish strategy game for later this year once we're done with updates to Rogue Touch and our day jobs settle down enough to start another major title! Hopefully some of our current customers *wink* will want to check it out
I've gone over this in the other topics of this same sort: These NEED to be ported: Those are what MGS Touch should have taken after if Kojima was so insistent on the idea of touch shooting. Wrap those action sequences around a killer adventure game. Ah well. Hopefully MGS Touch does well enough and Konami sees that adventure games can be transferred to this platform pretty well and they see fit to port these two masterpieces over.
@spiffyone You're really promoting those to be ported aren't you? Does it play like 1112? Looks interesting, really. Well, I've got my own that I'm trying to get heard. (No, this is not ACID) This game can even run on a razor! As much as I do enjoy MGS touch for a quick fun, I sure do get sad whenever I see MGS mobile being run on a razor and not my iPhone.
Frozen Fruit (Free for PC) I can't really explain the concept. It's like a puzzler/breakout that strangely addictive. Also, I'd kill for SSBB, but that'd be asking for a bit much
Star Control II / Ur-Quan Masters This was made for porting. The code is available on Sourceforge and the original graphics were lower res and so should be easy to convert. It's a blast to just play the super melee sub-game which could be made into a downloadable game just by itself. The campaign mode is EPIC and far too much fun. Hell, if you haven't tried it or heard of it, just download it and you'll see what I mean. http://sc2.sourceforge.net/downloads.php EPIC.
well, i'll list some games that could be a possible choice: 1) Mercury Meltdown 2) Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 or 2 3) Zoo Tycoon 1 (just the original, that would be fine) 4) Point Blank (arcade light gun shooter if any of you remember) 5) Loco Roco 6) Crazy Taxi 7) Peggle 8) 42 all-time classics (a great game that everyone needs to have around) those are just some. If you really want to port a game, then contact the company saying about your idea. You never know, they might take it on board!
