Disgusting scumbag organization going after a harmless indie dev trying to make some original titles and in no way doing anything that would confuse or draw in customers with their brand. Hope the economy eats them alive. Every time I see a lawsuit against someone who clearly isn't some rip-off artist (see Chinese/Korean knock-offs of everything) I watch Fight Club. I have that gem on my iPhone (so many great things about that game) and I will take special care to make sure I don't lose it. But hey, there's always Appulous. Please credit Tim Langdell for promoting piracy and make an example of him.
Light Jockey seems to have been removed by the author and not taken down by Apple or for legal reasons. I still have it on my iPhone and it is a great game. The jailbroken 'trial' version is still easy to find.
I have a bunch of those games. You can also add numba which no longer appears to exist in the store. That was actually a high quality game that I actually still play, so I am not sure why it disappeared.
I have it. Don't play it much though. It's fun and a good substitute for Tetris from EA Games which is like $5 I think? Don't wanna pay for something I won't play often.
I have Tris (obviously.) I also added Shaker to my list. I didn't know I had it until today. And I removed Dropship from my list since it is now back in the store.

X-Plane Ok, I'm a Noob and placed my first response under "soon to be removed apps" forum. But I mentioned there the "Sully's Flight" App from Laminar Research. I still play it and thought it was fascinating. I wonder why it's not available anymore. It was free, so it wasn't out of profit. Some of the survivors of that US Airways flight that landed expertly and heroically in the Hudson River saving all lives, are suing I read in the news. Could that be why, or perhaps you have to buy the story rights? I mean, the radio transmissions they use I'm sure are public domain. Anyhow, anyone else have this and notice it's been gone for months now? ps I'm excited to finally join you guys after just reading you all for the longest time daily
I don't recall it ever being free. Nice call on that game anyway. I forgot all about it. I don't know what transmissions you are referring to but, unless they were made by a department of the US government, they are not in the public domain. Corporate copyright in the US is 120 years after creation or 95 years after publication (whichever is shorter.) And in Canada it is the remainder of the calendar year plus 50 years for Crown copyrights while joint author copyrights last for a duration of 50 years after the death of the last living author. So if there are transmissions included in the game, that could be what I call a can of worms. That could very well be the reason it was pulled but, in all honesty, I don't know. I doubt any individual could actually sue, though empty threats of litigation could have been enough for Laminar to remove the game. P.S. Welcome to TA
I'm so sad Edge got pulled, and that people aren't getting a chance to play this amazing game. It is one of the most addictive, innovative games made so far. Perfect in every way. Fingers crossed the dev will be able to resubmit it with a new name. Perhaps he could mess with the word as with the Brand FCUK, just to make a point how silly it was to remove it. Tris was cool too.
I'm wondering how these pulled games will fare under 3.0. Specifically, I am hoping Tris will still be playable...and Dreigit. Anyone care to speculate?
