Since i was born in '87 i didn't really got to play those cinematrnonic arcade games like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.
To be honest i've never even played them on any other platform but ios.
But i've got a thing for those old school/retro games and really enjoy playing them (again) on Iphone. :D
It's great to know that you can have games like Broken Sword, Beneath a steel sky, doom etc with you at all times.

Anyways back on topic. For people who don't know what type of games Dragon's Lair and Space Ace are (h*ll, i don't even know type of games they really are). :p They're pretty much interactive cartoons, just press the right buttons at the right time. Doesnt sound to hard does it? Well, there pretty difficult. If you're to slow and/or press the wrong button you die. But even dying is fun, you get treated with a great (and funny) deathscene.

But i've only found a few of those interactive story games on the ios devices. I was wondering if there are more available on the istore? To me they are little gems that tend to get lost cause of all the cr*p thats currently overflowing the Istore.

    List

    Retro/old school:
    - Dragon's Lair (99cents atm)
    - Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp
    - Space Ace
    - Braindead 13 (I really like this one)
    - Cobra Command
    - Road Blaster

    Newer games:
    - Hysteria Project
    - Hysteria Project 2
    - Alternate endings
    - Banjo the woodpile cat
    - 2 Minute mysteries (very short games)
    - Scream in the dark
    - Seduce a suicidegirl (dating app?)

    Games with similer cinematic gameplay:
    - Subject 7

If you have access to an iPad, you could try Jurassic Park by Telltale. It has some light puzzle solving, but much of it plays like Space Ace.

On the iPhone 4, I would check out Subject 7. That's more of an adventure game, but it plays in a very cinematic way (it's made with the Unreal Engine).

Added a few more games to the lists and added subject 7 as well. Haven't played that one so put it in a seperate list. Hope you don't mind. :)
