a solid 3d platformer with awesome graphics and good concept. i want to play it by viewing my "beautiful display". who does that remind you of?
I was going to post my ideas in this topic, but then I got carried away and decided to do a whole blog post on games I would like to see made: http://gamexp.wordpress.com/2008/11/07/bring-me-these-ipod-touch-games/ What do you guys think? Aside from the Tap Tap request which will never happen, I think they're all pretty reasonable.
I would like to see a proper RTS with good gfx and a wide selection of units. I would also like to see a FPS. But, in my wildest dreams, I would love to see: Red Alert 3 Crysis / Crysis Warhead Unreal Tournament 3 But, my dreams are reality....... Mwahahaha
I would also like to see an RPG like oblivion or Fallout 3. The iPhone would work quite well with this genre as you could use the accelerometer to move and buttons down one side of the screen for different attacks / items. If only they made WoW for iPhone without a subscription fee....... (sorry for the double post)
C64 games: Archon Aztec Challenge Rat Race Spy vs Spy that Wizard Game, dont recall the game other styles of games a in depth C&C or RTS another TBS like Reign of Swords a better Risk Style Game, maybe Axis and Allies Style A Civilization empire style game Flash ports Dice Wars The Last Stand but i dunno, i'm pretty content with all the flashlight apps and sudoku games
I think any sort of card game would be awesome, especially if you could play against people online. A real trading card game like yugioh, magic, WoW or something like that, or maybe a completely unique IP.
I'd love a red alert game. I've been tempted to make one myself, but I want to continue work on my current game first
Cool retro games Pokemon: all of them. even in original graphics from GBA cos that gives it charm. Donkey kong, Legend of Zelda, Harry potter, Sonic, Super Mario, Mario Kart, propper version of frogger, dragonball, Spyro, digger, kungfu master, little fighter, prince of persia, super mario world, tom and jerry, the simpsons, GTA, spiderman, woody woodpecker racing and lastly inspector gadget. all old games gameboy advane or colour. can be ported easily to iphone. at least pls port pokemon. all versions. red, blue etc.
The problem is the legal grey area emulators find themselves in. Especially with the XBOX Live Arcade and Wii Virtual console, I don't really think anyone can feign ignorance and claim that roms are abandonware anymore.
Sticking with games that have an outside chance of getting made (e.g. nothing emulated or made by Nintendo)... * Chronotron (Flash game) * Grim Fandango * Lost Winds * NiGHTS into Dreams * Portal * Puzzle Bobble (there are clones in the app store, but the original is the best) * RTS like Command & Conquer * World of Goo A jRPG like Sega's Shining Force or Panzer Dragoon Saga would be great too
We definitely could use a YuGiOh port. The only good non-traditional card game I've found so far is Orions.
