My friend said ever since he updated to iOS 9 his games have been working slowly. Crossy Road for example, he says took up to 2 full minutes to load when he clicked on the app. Quite weird. I'd rather wait until apple fixes these issues than update now.
But i assume you can switch the LPM off in the settings? If yes, well, then it's a very good option for sure.
Can anyone confirm Race the Sun? I'm on 9.1 beta, bought it last night, and it doesn't work. Thinking about totally restoring from scratch (not just for Race the Sun, but I'd like to know. My Game Center has been broken for a month, and that is no bueno. I miss achievements). Every year I succumb to the beta temptation, and every year I end up sad when I get everything so messed up I have to start over. Maybe I'll learn...
This update only added some new gimmicks and iOS 8 honestly felt more stable. This was seriously overblown.
Goat Simulator GoatZ Although weird bugginess is their forte, neither game will load landscape textures. BROKEN. Goat MMO Started out a bit sluggish populating the world but seems to be playable. Mr. Particle Man...Broken
Just tested, works fine. First time loading it up and actually playing off my old save file on my 6s, its really blurry now, I remember it being sharp pixel art before, maybe its just the bigger screen.
My iPod Touch 5 is still on ios7. When I heard mixed reviews with IpT5's and ios8 performance, I held off. Now that ios9 is out, I'd still rather play it safe than sorry. Of course, for me, I'm waiting for the pendulum to swing the other way... when I woN'T be able to play games now that they require ios8 or later. Hopefully, an IpT7 will be released, with a 4.7" screen!
TouchArcade App broken Not a game: With the update to IOS9 the TouchArcade App is now broken when trying to load long articles. E.g.: When I touch/klick on Home->Featured Articles->Out Now the widget opens, starts to load and after 30 seconds the app is crashing. Other widgets are fine.
Not a game, but I can't seem to update any apps from the App Store. I have not updated to iOS 9 on my 6+. There are 5 apps that have updates (red badges showing on the app icon and on the update button in the store), but the "update all" is greyed out. The apps that have updates are at the top of the list, of course, but they only have "open" buttons instead of "update" buttons. Even searching up each app individually doesn't help. I can read the description of the new update for each one, but again there is no update button, just an open button. None of the apps list iOS 9 as a requirement for the app or update, so I don't know what's going on.
I had that same issue and it lasted for a day and then finally my iPhone decided to install the updates.
