Hey guys. I am researching for an upcoming Health project I have. I am studying whether the fitness levels of people vary between gamers and non gamers. It is often perceived that heavy gamers are overweight and unfit-I'm looking to dispel that notion. I was wondering if you guys could help me with my research. Information like your height, weight, age, mile run speed, #of push ups you can do, etc. would be useful. Also useful would be (roughly) the number of hours you spend passively gaming per week.
Now, I understand this is a lot of personal information, and the internet is a very public place. Please do not feel obliged to do this- I am only trying to collect research, and I'm not looking to offend anyone by this. If this breaks some rule of the forum, please take it down, as I mean no harm. I just thought it would be an interesting survey.
If you have any questions please PM me. Just to make you aware, I doubt I will end up using this for my paper, as my results could be skewed (for example, only the fittest people might post their fitness levels). This is more to gain a general understanding of how fit a gamer is. I thought this would be as good a place to start as any as it is a large forum, focused on gaming.
Thank you for all your help, and when I come to a definitive answer to whether gamers are fit or not, I will be sure to share it with you guys
