I agree with you on being a critic of Gameloft especially since I found it so hard to make it through brothers in arms (had to fight to continue playing the game and not delete it from phone.) They have proven to me that the virtual buttons can work on idevices and have made great strides and advances in the virtual controls they have made for the idevices. They are one of the reasons the big boys are now starting to bring bigger titles their success of millions of downloads is what is bringing better games. Many on here don't thank them for this they curse them.
Whats the oint of wifi/bluetooth multiplayer if you only got 1 person to play with (my bro)... Creating a online multiplayer script may take up to 4 months... Why dont they just create that and use it for all of their engines (takes approx. 4-7 months) and just get bigger hype that you have a Halo clone with kickass graphics right on your phone.
That's exactly what I've been saying. Gameloft's whole mission with these clones is to show proof of concept! To show that you don't have to dismissively shoehorn rubbish onto the iPhone Here's what the big boys have been companies have been kicking out: Any questions?
Holy sh*t! My GOD is that incredible! I do hope they tweak the enemy AI. that guy getting sniped was clueless.
No. Questions at all. I think we have proven our points to the Gameloft naysayers on this forum. nuff said.
MGST is one of the few games on the App Store with a very thick layer of polish on top. I haven't seen one Gameloft game that has been polished. MGST was great, and remains of an example of Kojima's smart reasoning. Marketing wise, you will understand what I mean.
It's got a thick layer alright. The layers start with Duck Hunt IP and then put MGS Skins on it and provide a story. Lot of layers alright. It's always fun to move snake from left to right while aiming at the ducks on the screen.
Yeah, but I'll think I'll add last direct comparison. Assassin's Creed (made by Gameloft) Which one looks like the more ambitious project?
That's not a good point at all. Gameloft didn't make Assassin's Creed. They ported it from Ubisoft's DS version and actually improved the graphics and sounds from the original. Nope, he's not.. Just don't ask and don't bother.
Oh yeah you're absolutely right. Well now this baffles me, why would Ubisoft dumb down their sequel when they know Gameloft ported their game with great success. It's STILL in the Appstore top 100. Hmmm. The other vid comparisons still stand though.
No YOU are Naive sir! May i ask is this your first gaming platform? How can you justify a duck hunt game with MGS skins? I was so happy when i saw the trailer but everything was crushed to pieces when Konami released this insult to every MGS fan of a game! MGS is not a stealth game not a freaking shooting gallery! Look outside of TA and read what other gaming site is saying about this abomination before calling someone naive!
Actually, the first AC was made for the DS and Gameloft ported it over with enhanced graphics. Ubi is making this one for the iphone. Proves what the big boys are doing in that Gameloft took a game developed for the DS and not only ported to the idevices but improved on the original port. It also proves that big developers are failing at producing AAA titles for the device. If Ubi let gameloft make the game it would more than likely be kick ass.
I don't based my opinion on previous agreement, i hate mgs:touch and being a fan of every mgs game ever made ( including the nes era) i hate how konami treated us with this one. That's how the big boys roll with the idevices ...darn!
Agreed. We got the shaft from Kojima and he used MGS: Touch as a marketing ploy to help push sales of his hit PS3 game.
