If this is pay to play I don't care how good it is, my money will go to other apps or Xbox 360/PC games. There is no way I will pay any where near the cost of a game that has 25-100 people working on it for years with a budget of millions to tens of millions of dollars for a relatively dinkie iPod game that has 2-10 people working on it for a few of months.

I don't mind paying more for a good game and often pay $60 for my console games, but the thought of paying $40 for a rather generic, bland version of UT AND still not owning the darn game makes me sick.

If Nova is pay for play it ain't for me.

On the other hand, if Nova is polished, has good gameplay, 4-8 hour single player campaign and decent multiplayer features I wouldn't mind paying $25 or so for an iPod Touch game. Or $7-10 for a scaled down version and the same price for expansions so long as I can play the crap out of what I am paying for with no additional fees to play.

Really looking forward to this one so please don't mess it up with pay-for-play:)

I agree with all of you, Eliminate is fun, but it's energy system is so stupid, why would I buy "power cells" that won't matter in the future, when I can wait a month for free MC:S multi and I can get NOVA. Ngmoco screwed themselves with eliminate, like how many people are actually gonna pay $40 for energy, I'm savin money for apps and iTunes stuff. Eliminate is boring anyway after playin 100 times and waitin 4 hours everday for energy, eliminate is just another game on my iPod, and its not like I can play it anywhere without wifi. I can't wait for NOVA! It's gonna be way better than Eliminate and less fustrating and it'll have a way better marketing strategy: pay for the game, have fun with. And........... New York Yankees 3 innings away from championship #27

Why do all if you act like you can't play eliminate without buying energy?

I've played eliminate everyday since it came out and I haven't bought energy once. I'm level nine and have plent of upgrades, and I win probably two thirds of the games I play, seldom place less than second, and I've never bought energy.

Eliminate is still fun without energy. You can still play just fine.

The really stupid thing? Eliminate without energy is no different than the Nova multilayer you are all so excited about. You won't be able to upgrade in Nova's multiplayer, and you can't upgrade in eliminate's multiplayer without energy, but you can still play both games for fun.

I'm really looking forward to Nova, but people's complaints about eliminate are ridiculous. I've had a lot of fun with the game, I play it whenever I want, and it hasn't cost ne a cent. On the other hand, I nay buy energy once to reward eliminates developers for making such an impressive, enjoable game.

You don't have to wait for energy to play eliminate. I play whenever I have s few minutes to kill during the day. Most deathmatch games are just for fun. No one says they can't play Halo because they can't earn credits to upgrade, so why do so many people think they can't play eliminate unless they're earning credits.

And holy cow -- you've played 100 games of eliminate already? That's 300 minutes of game time. That's five hours of playing for free. You must have liked the game to spend five hours on it in the three days it's been out. I wouldn't spend anywhere near five hours on a game if I didn't like it. I like eliminate alot and I've played about 35 games I would guess.
I also play eliminate without wifi quite a bit without issue. It works great over 3G.

I want Nova a lot -- I think ghe dingle player looks great, I like the design, but I can appreciate eliminate as well.

If I ever get to playing eliminate I'm not going to spend a cent on energy. The reason I can't play is because whenever I try making a plus+ account it says "invalid password". Does anyone know why? thanks.

Yeah, well I played a lot last weekend because I wanted to play this game since March when it was first previewed, but I still think the waiting thing is annoying, but the game is free so it's not entirely bad:) and I'd like to see how gameloft multiplayer's will match up to eliminate.

Nova FTW. I have credit in hand. Even if gameloft sell it for $20, i'm gonna buy it on the first day.

lol why would a gameloft game go onto plus? ngmoco and gameloft seem to be the big heavy waits of the app store each trying to out do the other

And Eliminate is a rip off of Quake 3, let's get over this rip off remarks since nothing is original nowadays! Just enjoy the games!
