Gameloft's new FPS: Nova

It has local multiplayer over wifi and bluetooth (if that's what you mean), but I'm pretty sure that there is no online multiplayer, as in 'playing other people around the world'.
Not 100% sure on that though, can someone else confirm?

 

They didn't tech say it will have online multiplayer. though they did say that it will have push notifications, wifi, Bluetooth and voice talk. Seems like online to me....with local.

 

Yeah...That's what I heard in that keynote, too. They said it will have multiplayer over wifi and bluetooth and push notifications. So I guess they meant online multiplayer. Otherwise push notifications don't make any sense other than for letting others know your highscore. But they said it in a tone to let people know its not special and not worth mentioning clearly aiming at NGMOCO with their online multiplayer mode only

 

Well you'd hardly use voice chat over bluetooth, would you?

 

Well that's what I thought, but apparently there will be no online multiplayer.
Maybe they decided to remove it?

Maybe they plan on adding multiplayer as an update, to let the game be released faster, that's what MC Sandstorm did, yet still no multi-play.

Are there any news about the game? Really looking forward to it...

 

Not one word. If some website doesn't manage to score an exclusive preview, the next time we'll hear news is just before release of the official trailer or the game itself.

 

I'm guessing they've already submitted it but since they have sooooo much in it, it's gonna take sometime for it to be approved.

I'm 99 % sure there'll be online multiplayer..

 

Guys we never know when Gameloft submits their games. It gives them time to hype the release on a certain date.

They were talking about submission in November I believe. I could be wrong, I just remember hearing something of the sort.

 

Well it depends how long they take to add the online multiplayer.
They originally planned to have no online multiplayer, but now they have changed their mind and have started working on it. A mid-late November submission does sound about right. We should have this before Christmas (which I might add, is only 75 Days 10 Hours and 58 Minutes away )

I guess a Christmas release, priced at $6.99.

 

This will probably come out in November or December since there's still no new about it.

 

I think the guys at ngmoco have already submitted Eliminate, so Gameloft won't be far behind with N.O.V.A.
