How are you guys going to not only quote that other poster, but put the quote in bold to boot and STILL not understand? Again: Mobile gaming platform. Not portable game system, or video game home console. Mobile. So why are you stating that he's comparing it with DS or PSP? He's not. Mobile platforms =/= portable game systems, and are not in the portable game system market. Within the mobile platform market, iPhone/touch is, FYI, probably the premiere gaming platform. The numbers don't lie. Stating that tidbit does not mean one is comparing it to portable game systems in the portable game system market (a different market).
Many have fallen to bring the hallowed Halo experience to the iPhone. Many frustrated nights fumbling with SSH programs. Many sinister software experiments, resulting in misshapen, damned abominations. Never forget... Before:
I hope his friends buy Nova in a couple months and then show it to him. He'll be in denial for a couple days before bursting into tears.
I wish people would drop th iPhone VS DS VS PSP thing. Never used a PSP but the kids both have DS's and they can't wait to get iPod Touches. THEY think the DS games are basic in comparison.
Good on em. I have a ds a psp and an iPod touch and I never pick up the ds because the games are rubbish. I don't pick up my psp much because the games are more expensive than iPod games and the original psp is hardly portable. But my iPod touch, Im always getting new games for this and the games are pretty much perfect for a handheld. And for example gta Chinatown Is $50 for ds and when it comes out for the iPod touch it will prob only be about $20. So iPod touch and iPhone own in my opinion!!!!! Now we can drop it and get back to the topic. Wait I forgot what fps we are talking about now haha.
Yes, and by then the Xbox 720 (squared) will have virtual reality helmets, where you're in the game, but can't actually die, and everything looks completely realistic. Don't forget that there won't be a need for the device, because you'll be able to make calls, play console games, and surf the internet, inside of your brain using a special chip that has quite a few side effects including nausea, vomiting, swelling of the tongue, death by stroke, mild headaches, death by heart attacks, frequent coughing, and a complete take-over of your body by a computer that turns you into a cyborg. Everything in technology is relative. A 1st Generation iPod Touch or iPhone would be completely worthless at that point.
My gut instinct told me 2011 but I wasn't sure and didn't want to be wrong, so I put 2012. It's amazing how rapidly technology is developing isn't it?
Agreed! Hey, did any of you watched the trailer of the flick 'the gamer'? I don't really know how to feel about that one
