Yeah true, cause they wouldn't go back, they'd just seek to improve on the 3D gameplay or start one over from scratch and make it better. I just wonder how long it will take other companies to get serious. Gameloft's closest rival is the mammoth EA.
A lot I think will depend on how GTA:CW does on the idevices. That is the first true big company bringing a huge title to the idevices. Yes. I know there have been other big titles a lot from Gameloft for that matter. This is the first huge AAA title from one of the biggest game developers in the market, though.
Man, these graphics, Halo's looks, team deathmatch over wifi, Modern Combat's control scheme? All they need is multiplayer over the net and they will kill everyone. Is it too much to ask for the Warthog?
I find it sad that every gameloft thread starts with the clone argument! I think i'll just go ahead and copy paste the replies when another game comes along lol! Any seriously, Gameloft games are the only games that excites me this days along with several few..very few. Just look at the 'New Games' section aside from the EA and Gameloft titles there what else entice you? The platform is a haven for low production casual 99cc games that are basically also 'clones' of each other
Oh! Sorry, I thought you were saying that 2 is better than Altair's Chronicles. It is quite true though that they could have done a bit more than make it a side scroller. However, 2 looks much easier to play and a bit funner in terms of fighting and platform jumping. Sure, it could have been 3D with movements in the Z axis. If this game has a form of free roam that lets me run and kill constantly spawning guards and jump platforms with no objectives, I'd probably get it.

Gameloft will probably release this first knowing how NGMOCO needs time for hype marketing and everything this is going to eliminate Eliminate if ngmoco still plan to go through with their charging extortion of a scheme... on second thought i think the same outcome will happen even if they scrap it!

I keep on seeing the Ubisoft logo in big bright colors everytime i fired up my DS. Naaah.... i'm just playing with you, you may be right on this one as my DS is gathering dust right now and i'm just lazy to check!
Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles is a video game released for the Nintendo DS, iPhone OS, and Symbian. It is a prequel to 2007 the video game Assassin's Creed, developed by Gameloft and published by Ubisoft. -Wikipedia Gameloft royally ****ed up Assassins Creed. They mess up every licensed game they make. Oregon trail, Terminator, this, and I believe another. The games they make themselves are pretty damn good though.
They f***ed up the controls of the game when they ported it, that took away from a lot of the "Smooth" control system during gameplay. If you didn't like the DS version though, the Iphone version is a nightmare, and even if you did like the DS one, it's still a nightmare. IMHO, neither of them are innocent, even if one is more than the other. Anyways, lets try get back on topic, only 5 weapons looks unappealing, but the rest of it looks great. I guess Eliminate is more of a Section 8 for the iphone, and Nova is the actual clone.
I thought the ganeplay showed looked frighteningly similar to Terminator's. The graphics were great though.
Eliminate's environment looks pretty bland to me, honestly it looks like a generic clone of coded arms only coded arms had prettier graphics!
