Hmmmm.... I think they're saying sorry about the delay. I don't think Gameloft would contradict themselves that badly. Just like Blindside said, It wouldn't make sense to say something like that, it probably is coming out in a few hours. I agree with Blindside. It is probably coming in a few hours.
Didn't they post that you should check your iTunes account to see if you have enough money a couple of days ago. They should have known about the delay by that time so if the delay is real then why should they post a thing like that.
I really hope so! Although the news about GTA Chinatown Wars coming to the iDevices really makes me happy

*Sighs Sadly* On the Modern Combat Twitter it sad something like Sorry but Modern Combat has been held back but should be on the App Store very soon! So I thought that they contradicted themselves and were saying "Sorry for the wait, it should be out very soon." That's what I thought they were saying.
?!?! Go COD4 whoo! Anyway, I think Gameloft is being pretty lame nowadays. But as long as I've cod4, xbox live, and baseball then I'm good to go. Modern Combat wouldn't hurt to have though.
Oh... I saw their twitter, I hope that they did make a mistake because it doesn't really makes sense to say it'll be delayed for a few weeks but it'll be out in the AppStore soon? I'm going with your theory! The theory of hope lol Aghh... They changed it, and instead of saying it'll be out soon or whatever it originally was, now it says "Modern Combat: Sandstorm will be out in a couple of weeks. So, we'll have to wait just a bit longer"
Yep, quite depressing... Especially since there was so much hope for Gameloft releasing it before September in this thread... Oh well, at least we know GTA is coming to the iDevices and Nex is out in Australia! I shall remain optimistic.
Well hey, Gameloft is a great company and they are acually doing some of the impossible for mobile gaming, am I right? Don't screw up their reputation because they are making one of the best FPS games for the iPhone. We'll just wait it out since they are trying to make this game perfect, take as long as you want Gameloft because customers will be happy afterwords!
come on...really? EXACTLY! Wow, I was just thinking the EXACT same thing and then literally a minute later I read this. I completely agree. I am not mad because it's delayed but I am mad at how Gameloft handled this and quite frankly, I am very surprised. I am pissed about the fact that their twitter posts from Friday telling everyone to check their itunes accounts and make sure they have enough money combined with the fact that they have had an official post for almost a month stating that it would be out before the 1st, then to drop this TODAY? It really is pretty shitty they did this because if it was only delayed a few days then I could understand this announcement today, but the fact that it's delayed a couple f'n weeks..really?? They HAD to have known well before today about that! I could be wrong but I doubt it. oh well whatever....
Just a theory... Okay, I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this or not, if so, sorry for the repeat. I wonder if Gameloft was actually planning this to be released before Sept. 1st, and WAS in fact on schedule, when they got a call from Apple asking them to do a demo at the special event on the 9th. Maybe they put this on hold so they could show it off on the new ipod touch next Wednesday, and then announce its immediate availability in the app store with millions of people tuned in. Lots of free press, especially since it's the first console-like FPS on the platform. Hmmm, I wonder...
