Still, short game life may be forgiven, as the rep mentioned that Gameloft is considering adding multiplayer in an update to the game!

The fact that Gameloft is just "considering" adding multiplayer is not good news in that respect.

With their track record of update promises, it's possible we'll never see multiplayer implemented.

I could swear in a 'tweet' Gameloft said that there WILL be online multiplayer in an update... in about two I think.

You may be right, but IIRC, they mentioned that they were "planning" on adding multiplayer.

Wow. Got a glowing review of a hands-on play from Pocket Gamer. They said you'll be blinking in disbelief it's so good. Wow. I'm pumped. :D

Many people got hands-on now, iphonegamesnetwork, pocketgamer, so TouchArcade probably got it as well!

I am just interested, can anyone tell me which Gameloft titles have received significant content updates? And I don't mean bug fixes or 3.0 compatibility updates.

I can't think of one off the top of my head...

ALOT of games on iTunes have promised multiplayer and never got it. I just hope this one can keep the promise.

On iphonegamenetworks preview they said they campaign would last about 3-4 hours. This is definitely an improvement from Terminator, but still seems a little too short.

3-4 hours isnt that short for an iphone game, some console games are that long (but most console games have online)

are you crazy? Modern warefare and world at war only campaign only lasted about 2 hours and we have 3 to 4 hours here on sandstorm for an iPhone. I would say you are being greedy and expect wAy to much.

I don't mind 3-4 hours as long as it's an intense 3-4 hours of great action driven by a well developed story. If it has good controls, good level design, fun combat, and an immersive story that drives things forward, 3-4 hours is absolutely not a problem to me at all.
