I just really want to see less trash like Urban Crime. If we can get that at least accomplished then we can move on and start addressing more complicated issues.

It's like we have to teach them to crawl again.

Well, I personally HATE IAPs, especially the way Gameloft has implemented them in the freemium models they use. Other types, such as The Bard's Tale, or Run Roo Run, just to name a few, and there are many other perfectly good games with IAPs, include IAPs to help either the casual gamer, or to help them advance without any trouble. And item IAPs, such as decorative hats, swords and whatnot are not a problem to me. But when there is IAP that limits the gameplay in any way, or makes it so that IAP is needed to fully enjoy the experience of hte game, thats when it becomes a problem. And the thing is, freemium is not going anywhere anytime soon. If you look at the top grossing charts, 8 of the top 10 apps are free games, and the top 4 have solidly held their place for a while. Though people like me, and many other gamers on TA really despise this model, the hard truth is that many people in the App Store actually put alot of money into IAPs, and I've heard this somewhere, but IAPs apparently make up over 60% of the total revenue of games(don't know if this is true). And gameloft is using the freemium model to make the most profit, though many people hate it. It's simply a fact, that many free games on the app store outgain many other great games. So though I really really hate freemium games(*cough*Glu*cough*), I really don't think its going to disappear anytime soon, and the best thing people can do is to simply not buy IAPs from games from the companies in the future.

    Just my two cents :D
