i am sure they will drop the 0.99 one day. but having hope is not a bad thing, i am hoping them to get crazy for christmas lol.
Yeah even for Christmas you can expect to not see any of their new games going on sale, especially when it comes to games that literally were just released. Even games like Spiderman and MC2 probably won't be on sale for another few months. AppShopper tends to indicate that the 5 month range is pretty accurate as far as $.99 sales goes for Gameloft games.
Well, would not be bad for DH2 (I only got EL because it's the better game, imo) and I'd surely buy it for a buck, too. But that's not Gamelofts politics. Gameloft has a fan base, steady sale numbers, they don't wanna screw their relationship with their customers. So, a price drop will be unlikely - but who knows?
The whole point of this appvent thing is to see stuff you wouldn't normally see, like Driver and Rayman 2 going free. I'm hoping for some .99c deals on games out less than 5 months... Like, say, Real Golf 2... Come on GL, I'm ready to hit the links.
That you have to have a facebook account to look at. I really thought there would be more sales. (not whining though, I appreciate the cinematic art that I can't look at because I refuse to go on Facebook) =)
