I may be using AppZapp wrong, but it looks like price changes have stopped in NewZealand. So... unless it's US only... this may be all we get.

Again, I'm totally new to that tracker... I typically have been using AppsFire, AppShopper and Games Store.

I don't know. It's not like I didn't get some serious games to play. 9mm was one of my long time wants that I thought if it didn't go on sale this Christmas that I'd have to just pony up and pay full price. Not many games ever make me want to pay full price. I think the few on iOS were Minecraft PE, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, GTA:VC... and maybe one or two others.

If this is all we get then maybe next month on my B'day I'll just bite and get Asphalt 4 & 5 and the first NOVA (been wanting to play it before playing 3).

I've resisted the past couple deals for Max Payne. I played it a lot on Xbox and enjoyed it but I can't say it's even in my top 500 games of all time. I think there's a point where owning some of these games is more for the novelty than because they are that great.

    I picked up...

Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Sonic 4 Ep 1, Sonic CD, Shining Force, Bastion, Pocket Clothier, 9mm, Wild Blood, Iron Man 2, The Settlers, Ferrari GT Evolution (not on sale, but $0.99, I enjoyed the classic gameplay of the demo since the tracks are... I think... mostly ripped from Asphalt 1 & 2), Wings of Valor, Final Fantasy Tactics:WotL, RPG - Fantasy Chronicle (Kemco), RPG - Symphony of Eternity (Kemco), RPG - DarkGate (Kemco), Need for Speed Most Wanted...

and that's in addition to last week getting Metal Slug 1, Metal Slug 3, Blazing Star, The King of the Fighters -i-, RPG Eve of the Genesis (Kemco), Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III...

and I wont even go into what I got between Thankgsiving and then.

    Serious... gaming... overload.

But I'm hyped to have so much great stuff to play. Plus tons of stuff I got free.

    ...

Looks like more stuff showed up free on the AppStore. More Chop Chop games and a game called Form. Maybe ... there's still hope for a 3rd round of Gameloft stuff

EDIT: Forgot Secret of Mana in the list above. Probably forgot another game too ... lol.

  4. Heard lots of good things about 9mm, so I bought it a couple of days ago. But with all the current big names like wild blood, alpha zero, deathsmiles, fifa, and nfs, and many others, I won't be able to try it out. Wonder if the cussing is on the same level as gangster rio. Not that I mind either way.

  5. Gameloft usually only had a couple of sales everytime, and usually not the same ones unlike EA. So probably not.

  6. Wild blood, hands down.

Wouldn't mind finish the sales with rainbow six and tin tin but the other gameloft games I got might be best. And rio doesn't cuss as much as 9mm butno game cusses as much as GTA San Andreas

  8. Nightc1, nice list. I got 30 bucks in games this time around.

If you like shooters, give alpha zero a shot for a buck. They just added 4 new controls. If you don't like it, I will send you a $1 amazin gc. Give it a try, it is pretty cool.

Well, it looks like I might pick up 9mm, and if I don't like, hey, I can delete. It's only 99c anyway.

I wonder, should I get 9mm, or clear the space to get Max Payne?

Hmm... that's a pretty serious hype... I guess I'll look at it. I think I'm down to $30'something in iTunes credit.

Better graphics. iCloud saves. Once of the best stories/voice acting ever in a video game. At release it won every award there was. 9mm is a pathetic clone of MP.

  16. I like 9mm much better, but haven't played either much. But gameloft really makes some good games and so many people say good things about 9mm.

I gotta say I bought NOVA 3 a couple of days ago, after debating between it and Batman, and I'm pleasantly surprised tbh. I'm liking the game way more than MC4. The gunplay feels smoother, graphics are actually more detailed than MC4 when up close, no input lag, online feels smooth, really great character models(instead of the early launch PS2 looking character models in MC4), way more enemy/gun variety(to be expected since it's a scifi shooter), better framerate(although still unstable at parts) and more.

The only thing MC4 has over NOVA3 is better physics, better gun models, and more better special effects(for example slightly better lighting in the lens flare).

Pick up NOVA3 if you haven't and got some change left.

The demo to 9mm is free. Download it and play it. If you like it, get it. Max Payne is fairly well known and will be $0.99 again before 9mm is.

Now that is a good point. I guess I will go for 9mm, since it might lock at 6.99 after the sale. :)

  20. I love the intro to Nova 3, and those flying girl robotz are radical. Just that alone was worth a buck for me. Look forward to Nova 4 on an ipad 5 or 6, hooked up hdmi to my tv with airplay support. Won't need a console then for sure!
