Snatched these up while there discounted. All for .99, btw. Spiderman Avatar Heros of Sparta II Shadow Guardian Star Battalion and picking up Zombie Infection I've not felt this anxious to play games in a.......couple days
Kind of agreed. I would say Shadow Guardian... but even that was a little mundane. Just lacked so much.
Shadow Guardian is a terrible game -- in fact, it barely qualifies as one. I picked up Star Batallion, but from that list the only one I would recommend is Spiderman.
I think "button delayed cut-scenes" is a more apt description. And the lack of mouth movement when the characters speak is just plain disturbing. Especially since they're well articulated in every other respect. The differences between the subtitles and the on-screen speech is another source of distraction that rips you out of the "experience". Star Batallion has a lot going for it. I would not discourage anyone from getting it at $0.99. However, the development studio needs to learn to ham up the drama a bit more. The opening cut-scene, for example, is plain spectacular. Too bad the opening line is cheesy and the music is anything but dramatic. The sound ruined a perfectly good space battle! Things kind of go downhill from there. (e.g. "Fly in that cave and take out the turrets!"/"Return to formation... NOW!" Ugh.) Which is too bad, because the voice actors do a bang-up job with their lines.
Nothing appeals. Waiting for a sale on NOVA 2/MC 2. That said, I feel like a thief for snatching SF4 for a buck.
did anyone even pick up anything at all? for me, i have every ea game i want already, nothing at gameloft appeals to me plus the file sizes are huge, capcom, i already have sfiv, and nothing from sega ever appeals to me. In general i just prefer indie games compared to big name companies.
Nah. You have enough to keep you entertained for a bit. Zombie Infection was solid, but the generic Gameloft game. Nothing special
Haha I got mirrors edge free from the 12 days of christmas uk thing! anyway can someone tell me what the sfii bgm iap does?!?!?' thanks!
