I am also in for a ban. Fruho lied and broke the forum rules.

And he lied again with this alleged bet.

And now? Everytime he's saying something now, he will either continue to lie or people won't believe him anyway.

Well, dunno - but people, who pretend to f*ck us for 50 bucks have no right to stay on TA... just my 2 ct.

Oh, yeah - grats to NEG! You placed the shot before even I could. ;)

i think it not just that he will be banned
i think Fruho should be thrown in jail and after 1 minute sentenced to death by throwing all the defective iPhone 4 to him until he dies because of radiations from the loser antennas of iPhone 4s :p

Am I the only one that feels sorry for him for some reason?

Edit: Seems like he's in Time-out

No, you're not. I found him to be generally pleasant and respectful, which puts him a cut above most people around here. It's too bad that he chose to lie to get attention -- personally I never cared whether he worked at Gameloft or not, at least beyond the fact that it was good news for him.

    Oh well...

Rules are rules, and he directly pretended to represent gameloft... If he gets away with this then it opens the doors for more people to try the same BS. Regardless if his other posts contribute here or not, this thread is direct violation of forum rules and I feel that he should be made an example of... Nice knowing ya bud!

I don't disagree. The question was wether anyone feels sorry for the guy.

  15. Meh. He sounds like a kid who did something really dumb for something even dumber. We've all been there I'm sure. Doesn't mean anyone should trust anything he says, but that's part of this stunt's lesson. I give him credit for coming back and owning up to it though; it would have been a lot easier to skip town.

The moral: The only thing dumber than the moron who dares you to do stupid things that could have long-term consequences is the moron who does them in spite of that.

Yeah, I don't buy the bet explanation either.

Not one bit, I actually was happy for the guy, and a tad jealous that he got a "job" that sounded pretty kick ass... I was duped and I'm sure a few other people were.. So no I don't feel bad. You reap what you sow, and this guy just proved to us that he's a liar and continues to try to cover those lies w/more lies.. In fact I would feel even better if I knew he wasn't allowed to come back... EVER

Like I said, I think he needs to be made example of. I know if I was a developer no matter how big or small, someone pretending to represent said company could be a liability. While maybe not a HUGE liability, it still presents a problem, and I don't much feel like having more people pop up pretending to be CEO of EA, or someone pretending to be Will Wright etc... I remember when John Carmack showed up I thought the same thing and I'm glad that the site owners were able to confirm so quickly that it really was him. That's the best thing about TA, this site is probably the closest I'll ever get to big name game developers and when people start pretending to be these developers or pretending to work for them, it hurts the overall credibility of the site...

I SAY BAN HIM FOR LIFE!!!

Yes sort of being the operative phrase here. He knew I had him in a corner and it would look better for him to fess up and not me to tell my story. So what does he do? Lied on top of it.

Let me tell you he was holding to his story pretty hard until I caught him in a ton of inconsistencies. It was lies on top of lies the whole time. Too many for him to keep straight. This was no sudden admission here.

What is the moral of this story? Liars will always get caught in the end.
