Cool, I have one piece of advice: HIRE REAL VOICE ACTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But really, congrats. Glad to see we have a direct connection with the big G.
I'm not too fussed about gathering secret info, the part that excites me is we know exactly who to shout at turn to when we want our games updated.
Actually I found gameloft's non-iPhone cellphone games to be much better than the iPhone games. I used to play some of their games on my Sony Ericsson and they were actually pretty fun for a tiny screen.
congrats man uh can I ask does Gameloft (or any game developer you might have worked for) have a position that deals more with the creative aspects and planning of games? < the creative guy as opposed to an artist or programmer ^ a guy that can write down his ideas for the games characters, weapons and settings of a game. ^ what job title would that be?
For gameloft, there is a storyline guy, but that's really it. The storyline guy (sorry, I don't know the official title ) does the characters, plot, and sometimes music of the game. But the characters are decided by the devs themselves
No, you cannot be hired as the "idea" guy. Or at least, I wouldn't think so. But then, I don't work for Gameloft.
