Please get your Stats again. The mentioned Games sold Better then some of the other Games that Gameloft had longer on the Market. If you wana know more about it please get yourself the Details from Gameloft last Annual Report.

Dude, it`s one Buck. So People are gladly not Listening to you.

Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus is one of the Best Selling Games from Gameloft. Do you really believe that they would put it on a Sale while in the last few Months ( 2011 ) around one Million new iDevices ( iTouch/iPhone/iPad/iPad 2/.... ) has been Shipped Out?

Well, Eternal Legacy was a JRPG that didn't remember the most important aspect, the story. In every JRPG, the story is the emphasis, and Eternal Legacy's story was just horrid. If you play JRPGs for the gameplay though, just block out the story and voice-acting and your fine XD.

Okay, I'll admit I'm wrong in the way I phrased my post. However, after reviewing the report, no game has done anything significantly worse than these two when they were using the IAP models.

A better way to put it would be that the two games could have sold much better and could have had a much better reception among customers if they had not tested out their IAP model for a month or so. Half the reviews, or more, on iTunes for the free versions of the two games are comments on the new model, accompanied by a one-star rating.

When Gameloft decided to put normal full versions of these games on the AppStore, the ratings have changed significantly in result.

However, the sales on the two new games were very poor because a good percentage of customers already had the game.

This is all besides the point though. Gameloft experimented with something new and found that it didn't meet expectations and have reverted back to the norm. It was a good effort and smart move in a way.

MC2 survived/covered by the $.99 damage last time. People picked NOVA2 for $.99 request. Maybe next time :)

Gameloft 11th anniversary May 2011 perhaps.

No. Try the lite if you need convincing. You'd better save up some more and buy real RPG like FF3, Secret of Mana, Chaos Rings or Crimson Gem Saga depending on what kind of asian RPG you're after.

One of the things people love in RPG is its story, characters and dialogue – and as we all know those are all Gameloft's weak points. The whole experience feels very sterile and lifeless. Add to that a mediocre gameplay and fighting mechanism and decide yourself if you'd better not use the $.99 for other game.

Is Starfront worth it for the single-player?

Whoa. Almost missed this sale. Regardless of the comments, I'm in for $2.97.

I have the same question about Starfront but at 0.99, I'll buy it and find out for myself.

Best campaign out of any RTS available right now. The skirmish mode is alright, but the computer generally does the same things every game. The game really was made for online play, but single player is definitely worth the dollar. Plus, you can save replays of every game you play, be it the campaign, skirmish, or online xD.

$3 for 3 games worth $19? Yes. No questions asked.

I get frustrated having to delete massive Gameloft games to make room for new massive Gameloft games during the sales. It's like a bad tetris games with my storage. I clear 1.5GB then messed around some so no room for Starfront so I reluctantly deleted N.O.V.A. I was saving from the last sale. The agony of hording iOS games.

It's a better issue than not having enough games to play.

I just deleted a mass of games to make sure these one fit in. I finally deleted Chaos Rings - had basically finished it, but wanted to make sure an update wouldn't continue the game. Too late now. Also deleted Dungeon Hunter 2 (finished), and a mass of smaller games. I always try to finish Gameloft games first though since they take up so much space. And if I don't really like it, I will delete it as well. Guess it's time to start playing!

Lol yep same here, if it's a single player GL game, I try to get it off my iPod as fast possible. If it has multiplayer, I'll probably keep it on my iPod if it's any good. Well, this really goes for any game. I delete any game with just single player the second I'm through. Can't be bothered replaying it, not even Dead Space xP.

Counted today for the first time, and it turns out Rainbow Six was my 50th game by Gameloft xD.
