They said one of their Top 3 sellers. The Settlers and Hero of Sparta aren't in the top 3. Uno has been available for over 2 years and Oregon Trail has been available for over 1. It's had to compete which those games since they have had so much time to accumulate sales NOVA has only been up for 6 months or so but the comparisons to Halo caused the sales to sky rocket EDIT: Just my opinions of course. It could be Let's Golf! (82.5mb) for all I know
Gangstar, Modern Combat, Avatar, Terminator, Assassins Creed, etc. any of the above would be amazing.
That was some seriously obnoxious tweeting. The last few times I'm making up slightly because I don't have an exact time for those. 4:00 am (I'm still up): Text Message from 40404. *opens it up* 7:01 am: Text from 40404. *opens it up* 7:10 am: Text from 40404. *opens it up* 7:50 am: Text from 40404. *opens it up* Pretty annoying.
Yeah, pretty freakin' annoying for them to try to help us get a shot at one of their three best-selling games. Those guys really should be more responsible.
Tweet 1: "Today's #HappyHour #FREE game will be 1 of @Gameloft 's TOP 3 best seller of all times, definitely a must-have, don't miss it!" Tweet 2: "Q&A: Today will be Wednesday game, It will be over 10 Mo so be near a Wifi Spot, You can take a nap/go to class/work for at least 6 hours" Tweet 3: "Today's game will also be over 20 Mo so even with the new Apple restrictions you'll still need Wifi " Tweet 4: "Q&A: "Mo" stands for "Megaoctet", it's the size of an application. Apps over 20 Mo cannot be downloaded via 3G" If it were just Tweet 1 and Tweet 3, I really wouldn't mind as much (though what's the point of saying the app will be over the 20 MB limit? Isn't that kind of assumed already considering all the games before this [sans two, I think] were over that limit, and all of the Top 3 games are over it as well?). But all four of them together, three of them rapid-firing one after the other.. got a little bit nerve-wracking
Wow it's not out yet... so what's the minimum-maximum time span we're predicting here? I'm thinking if I should sleep already or wait for it a bit more...
3 hours to go. Germany here, since Gameloft is an EU Inc. and they want to release it on wednesday it will be live within the timeframe of 3 hours from now. I predict that it wont take that long - I say 45 minutes
Wow over 46k views in this thread... are all of those unique views?? or just from a dozen or two of us here refreshing every half a second eversince this thread started? lol
Just wait an hour, even if it goes free the second you leave when you come back you'll still have an hour at the least to get it.
