Oh great, screwed by an iTunes bug: it's still free, but won't let me download giving me some message about it being "temporarily not available". I know this isn't your fault, but could you please consider extending the limit to make up for the time iTunes' servers f*ked up?

No, it was doing that as soon as the 2 hrs began (right after I got the tweet). I just didn't post until the fact that it wasn't going to correct itself before the two hours was up started to become pretty obvious. Must have been some kind of bug/issue with the Canadian store, or something else on my end.
I downloaded it this morning after receiving the text. It's a fun game that, strangely, doesn't feel "Gameloft-y" to me. That's a good thing.
No, you have to restart your phone, or go to another page or something, to get the app store to refresh if you looked at it when it wasn't available yet. Also, the store updating just means you are to late, which you were.
Oh.... @times, It takes like 30 mins to begin the free period... the item is being modified thang is slappd on ze face.
I wasn't using the iPhone app, I was going through iTunes itself. Also, if you'd actually read my post, you'd see that I specifically mentioned it was still listed as free. And yes, I did refresh the page, it made no difference. It's not the first time I've seen that error either, I even emailed a dev about it once and they told me the problem was on Apple's side.
Agreed, that's exactly what happened to me. It was listed as free, but everytime I clicked it, the "buy" confirmation box came up. It didn't matter if I refreshed/closed/restarted itunes, it would show up free, but if you clicked it, the implication was you'd be charged. I don't really care that much as I wasn't that interested in this game, but it's the first time I've seen that happen with a free game. And it was happening from when GL tweeted about it until the end of the promotion. bmn0210, are you in Canada by chance?
Can anybody give me a list of all the games that have been free so far? And is it just me or is gameloft not making any of the good games for free? Does anybody know of any really good games that are going to be free? And is the time period that they usually release the games after 3 pm(in U.S.)? because im a kid and i don't get back from school and they don't have the free games on the weekend
